I might have to try that sometime. Does it also work with the Trackmaster (Fisher-Price) Engines or just the old models, like Tomy or HiT Toys? Not sure about TM2, tho.
Well with TOMY and Hit Toys models of that type, the plastic is lighter so it can move more easily, unlike the Mattel ones. It is very hard to get movement out of the axle on a Mattel model. With TM2, you can glue in between the two axles to make a engine stronger, but not this trick
@@caley812studio you should swap the gear on the motor's shaft too. If it's cracked, he's loud and may not do the clicking noise when you try to stop him.
@juani.rodriguez7326 Well the strength of an engine like Donald is determined by the cog on the wheelset, not in the gearbox. His gear may be loud, but it isn't cracked, so I'm not planning on replacing it unless it was cracked
I did the same thing with most of my engines like: Donald, Douglas, Oliver, Emily, Plarail Stanley, Molly etc.
This is just the right video. I need. The same thing is going wrong with my tummy Percy. Just the axle gear is not tight enough to the axle.
With Percy, the cog may be cracked so the solution is to add some super glue into the crack
thank you for this tutorial! it was very helpful
No worries, glad I could help!
Is there a way to fix Tm2 engines to make them stronger?
@@SplatterStudios1567 I would recommend supergluing the axle by opening up the cog and inserting glue in the middle

Oh no the oldest engine I have is a mattel it's a good thing I didn't do it
@@chrishaushalter6983It might be possible, but you easily hurt yourself while trying it with a Mattel model, so I wouldn't recommend it
Ahh, makes sense.
812 Studios I have some bad news I lost Hong meis chassis and I can't find it anywhere so chances are Hong Mei will not return anytime soon
I'm aware, and although I'm still a bit dissapointed, it's nothing major, so I can live with it
@@caley812studio same
So basically you have to shift one gear to the other gear?
Technically yes
@@caley812studiodo you believe that it is a problem when the TM1 engines are fighting on TM2 track and are struggling?
@Libyan_Islamist It is only a problem if the axle is broken, otherwise they're fine on TM2 track
Do you live in the United Kingdom?
it’s a personal question don’t you think?
Yes
@@caley812studioamazing I also live in the UK too.
@@JamesTheSplendidRedEnginemaybe, anyway how are the other WSE competitions doing?
@@JamesTheSplendidRedEngine It is, but I personally don't mind being asked
I just watched the live that just finished
Yep, I saw you in the chat
This is the video where I found tour channel
I will try to do that with Salty and Splish Splash Sploosh Emily
@@Trackmaster1 I don't think it would work with SSS Emily because she is Mattel
Why don't give him a drop of grease inside his gearbox?
I'm guessing you're suggesting this to make him run better. I suppose I could at some point
