My family lives in Marion, My Grandmother 60 years old has lived in Marion since she was born, My Mother was also born there so I always go downtown its a beautiful place!
Marion's on a fast track and a high road to redevelopment with an eye to holding onto the small town values that are dying most everywhere. We weren't born here; we choose to live here. We moved here from the "big city" to experience exactly what's here. There's nothing quite like the Lincoln and the talent that takes its stage. This town is working hard to provide residents with things to do and there are some of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in here, some new, some older. When we moved here, Marion was kind of "sleepy," It's seen some pretty hard times when the economy took a bite out of it. It's coming back in a big way. There's an underlying love of community missing from so many places.
I was born in Marion 1944. My dad performed in the Lincoln theater mom was waitress next door it was where met. Great great grand dad fought in civil war
This place absolutely is awful. Lived there 25 yrs and got out. Way under the poverty level ..alot of the businesses you see in this video are gone now. They can't even afford fireworks for the 4th..
I was born here. Still here. #BestPlaceToLive
Wow.. this place is absolutely gorgeous 🇺🇸👍. The people are very down to earth.

I love how people in Marion say there is nothing here. I'm originally from Saltville, so Marion is like a city to me! Try living in Saltville!
My great grandfather lived in Big Tumbling worked for Stuart Land Cattle Co. his whole life.
Saltville is big compared to my little town of Ceres just up the valley from you!
