Glad you liked it, Joan. Seabourn are definitely not cheap - it’s rare we can go on them, but their ships… love the size of them 😊 Lots more personal service.
Very similar to the Quest, which we took to Antarctica in 2019 (before Seabourn launched the Venture class). Too cold to swim outdoors, so the area in the stern with the little pool is where the crew stored the ship's kayaks. I doubt we'd splurge and take Seabourn for anything but an expedition (i.e., unusual) itinerary, but the food was excellent, the ship was handsome, and all activities were extremely well organized.
Thank you for the video. We've booked a trip on the Seabourn Sojourn for Christmas 2025 and are excited to compare it to our experiences on Regent Grandeur and Silversea Shadow, both of which were fantastic in their own ways.
You're very welcome, Sheila. In 64 cruises, we've only been on ultra-luxury ships 6 times, all with SB, so we'd like to try SS soon to also compare. Enjoy that Hawaii cruise!
Thank you, Cheri! Holly is absolutely correct about the number of ships, although in September one of the three smaller ones (Odyssey) is leaving the fleet as it has been sold.. What you’re looking at holds just 450 passengers, which I think we mentioned in the tour. The large one holds just 600 which is actually perfect for us.
Another great, comprehensive ship tour, thanks Bob. Looks like a lovely ship. Those odd little areas squirrelled away are strange though but useful to know if you like to find a quiet corner like me 😊
Thanks for another beautifully shot ship tour video. This is a very elegant ship and really loved the forward whirlpool area, we would head there for the views 👏
I really enjoy your videos but I must ask you this. Firstly I know the passenger-to-space ratio is very high on luxury or ultra-luxury ships but there seem to be very few passengers on this ship. This I have noticed on many so-called luxury or ultra luxury ship in fact one ship which holds 490 passengers had only 160 passengers on board.
@dlgregory35 Thank you Gregory… glad you like our videos. I’ll take that last part first, if you know of a sailing that had only 160 passengers on it I guess it would depend on what time of year or if it was - perhaps right after that world crisis in 2021 when crusing resumed. I would wonder what ship you’re referring to and when, but I can tell you that this class of ship holds 450 and we were pretty full on our sailing. As to the first part, I think you’re asking about why you don’t see many people on this video - keep in mind you're commenting on a ship tour, not a Vlog episode; during a ship tour, I'm really conscious of showing spaces without people in the foreground, because I want people to see the ship, not some head walking by… you can imagine how long it may take to film something when people are walking by, so it usually takes a few shots per scene for me to get a particular scene finished. Now, a Vlog episode is different, because that is showing a ship in use and what port we may have been in that particular day. Hope this helps answer what I think you’re asking.

Another well edited video. Quite a smaller 🚢 ship
Thanks, Warren! Going on Quest at the end of June, so looking forward to that as well ❤
I prefer smaller ships like this. Thanks for a very comprehensive tour. It looks above our budget, but I enjoy seeing videos like this.

Very fancy indeed! Always great to see a ship and where some of the more quiet spots are located!
We liked it very much- love small ship cruising, just wish we could do this type more often 😊
We love Seabourn, especially Seabourn square!
Us too, Julie! Can’t go on them all the time, but when we are, it’s a rather attentive time… that what small ships can do 😘

Identical to Quest, as well as Odyssey, which is soon leaving the fleet in September.
Definitely pricey, but love love love the small ship experience.
Thank you for this wonderful reminder of our fabulous cruise on the Sojourn.

Very nice video and nice ship! For some reason I didn’t know Seabourn had any ships this small…
They have three ships that are this size. Two are slightly larger and the two expedition ship are smaller.
Thank you, Cheri!

Seabourn Odyssey has been sold to Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Japan.
A beautiful job filming the ship. And perfect music. I hope we can sail together someday. 🙏
Thank you! It would be great to cruise together. You'll have to dm/message me your schedule (I'll give you ours).
well done Bob. Hello to Holly
Hello Frances! Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you, Frances! We quite enjoy putting these together after the editing is all done, anyway 😂

Thanks, Pete! She is a good size, though the larger 600-pax sisters are a bit nicer. Headed on one of each this Summer ☺️
@@InnocentsAbroad gotta love small ship cruising 👍🏻

Thanks! And I agree with you about the views- the fwd area is BARELY used- it’s a great spot for unobstructed filming/viewing!
Did you notice a member of the blue shirt 👕 mafia on this tour? On deck 7!
I think there was a guy walking away that may have been wearing a blue shirt.
