An excellent video. You brought back so many memories of my 52-day cruise on the Seabourn Ovation. All the times I’ve sailed Seabourn all my food and service were extraordinary. Thank you for a great job.
Such a great video, thanks Rich & Helen 😊 We loved it so much we have booked Sojourn for next summer 😳 Sooo excited! Oh and we booked through Panache, they have been great so far, got us a fab deal too. Gave you a name check of course 😊
In a couple months, my wife and I will embark on our 9th Seabourn cruise. We've "dated around" a little, and keep coming back to Seabourn. We thought a Windstar last year on one of the old Seabourn ships might come close to the experience, but we were disappointed. I DO believe that the difference in quality is primarily because of the attitude of the crew. I don't know how they find these kids, but the difference between them and the crews of other lines just don't compare.....
A blessed good day Rich and Hellen Wowww so delicious dine In in Seabron Encore Cruise ship Different Delicasies, and Foods, I love it thank u so much for your wonderful guide options, and tips Sending love 😘 from solid fan Viewer from the Philippines 🇵🇭 sir Marvin 😍👏👏👏🙏👏👏👏👏👏
There is an option in the Collonade to be served items from the buffet. Some people have an aversion to self-service. Not me, but if you do, they will get it for you.
Yes, absolutely, thank you for pointing that out. Breakfast and lunch can both be self service or ordered from the menu in the Colonnade. Thanks for watching 👍
Just catching up on what I have missed after a week in Australia, what lovely menu items and I could definitely go for the cavier on demand and the scrumptious afternoon tea.
Thanks for watching Luna. Seabourn are actually quite demographically spread with regard to guests and are definitely not a senior citizen focussed line :)
Look’s amazing! If I am not able to get into the Thomas Kelly restaurant more than once, would they allow mr to have the food from thr restaurant in my room ?
Thankyou for another superb and mouth watering dining review 😍 Utterly fantastic as ever, we now have to find something tasty to eat 😁 This really does show how ultra luxury cruising is that step apart - it is definitely something that we want to try one day (perhaps when the little ones have grown?!)
Generally it’s smart but not too formal on Seabourn. They do have formal evenings but on most evenings guests just dress as they would if they were going to a smart restaurant or cocktail bar. Thanks for watching 👍
Seabourn has never appealed to me, just because of the design and decor of the Seabourn ships. But that smaller and more personable experience has been appealing to me a lot lately. Even with cruise lines like Princess, the buffet and cafe and high tea food in particular wasn’t exactly what I hoped or expected. But with a cruise line like this, I feel like it’d never be a miss no matter where the food is from. Canapés. I’m a gunna sound so suave using that term more often. That sushi bar, I would be there every day…for a SNACK!! I wonder if there is a surcharge for it or if it’s included. I don’t know if this is a problem for anyone else But the names of all the food items in the lower-left-thirds (which is an incredible extra privilege that I appreciate in these videos) are a little too low for me, because when I want to pause to get another look at the name of the dish, the TH-cam timeline and playback thing covers it and makes it hard to read. If they could be raised up, just a tad tad bit, I will be eclectic in my knowledge of all these different delicious looking foods. In other news, that deservedly titled high teatime looks legit. And that is saying something.
We tend to eat a bit later so didn’t mind that time but understand what you are saying. Maybe it’s so people can have afternoon upon return if they’ve been out exploring 🤷♀️ Thanks for watching 😊
Looks very nice! I will say though that the dining aboard Regent ships is superior. For example, lobster tail, filet mignon, dover sole are all available nightly in Compass Rose. Prime7 aboard all of their ships elevates the caliber even more. I will give Seabourn the nod on the availability and presentation of caviar.
Seabourn cooks meat dishes really really well. I’m normally a seafood person, but after tasting a bite of my husband’s steak one night I started ordering meat dishes too. I suppose this isn’t surprising given Seabourn’s mostly American/UK customer base.
@@visitwithus is there a place you can get a midnight snack thats 24/7? that thomas keller steak place that you need reservations for, if you wanna go there more than once you cannot right? say your a solo diner can you go there alone and dine and get a steak?
@@visitwithus if you eat too much GELATO can they ban you from the gelato bar? have you ever heard of anyone getting banned from there because they consumed too much? 🤭🤣
Very well done. I must admit I am a fussy eater (unlike my partner who is far more adventurous), being very much a meat and potato man (although I do like it well presented). But I think I liked most of what I saw so much I was salivating by the end. I’d certainly consider a voyage on the basis of the food I saw alone.
A cruise on something like Seabourn or its peers will be heaven for you though. You can literally ask for fillet steak and chips every night and you'll get it, no questions asked.
We’ve had very limited offerings of caviar. Actually, nonexistent. My bride scored a spoonful on VV Scarlet Lady on our last trip. We sail Regent next, caviar is available?!? Thank you 🙏🏻
Caviar is available on Regent but unfortunately it is one of the veery few things you have to pay extra for. They did have a Sunday canapé breakfast though where you could have a serving of Xavier and mimosa with your breakfast in the main dining room and the buffet 👍
@@visitwithus Ha Ha! Respect to your diplomacy. We’ve just returned from our first cruise. 10 days on Seabourn sojourn. If silversea are as good then we have many wonderful options.
Correct (at the time of our cruise). You got me thinking now with regard to Silversea and whether Atlantide was open every day or not... Also, The Restaurant may well be closed, but you can still enjoy full table service for breakfast and lunch in The Colonnade, which is obviously far more popular with guests otherwise I guess that they'd open The Restaurant if there was demand. :)

well as someone with no family no wife and kids and no one to leave my estate too, i think i have found what im gonna spend my money on, i thought about leaving it all to charity, but no charity deserves my hard earned money, especially since the events of oct 7th, looks like ill just have to go on a few ultra expensive cruises all alone before i end up 6 feet under. i thought about buying a ferrari but i think id rather go on a few nice cruises that buy a ferrari , i have no one to show off the car too anyway
Indeed! The cruise we were on these were the only fries available sadly. We were told at the time that they were replacing the ‘old’ Seabourn fries but I think they had so many complaints they wisely went back to the other ones, which knock the spots off of these ones. Thanks for watching 👍
I love Seabourn however my one main criticism is the chat which they have been serving these past couple of years- it’s absolutely diabolical not surprising thou g I guess at $12.00 This really irks me as I do not drink spirits.
