Thank you for posting. This version is beautiful, but very sad to me. I feel like it takes everything out of Thom to sing it, after his break up. sniff sniff.
i understand cheering during the song intro and after the song is over and maybe during a musical interlude but interrupting such a delicate song with screams and commentary is so annoying. that one girl sounded like she was trying to have a conversation with the band.
Guys, I was there and it was only one girl yelling for the first minute. The rest of the crowd was silently enjoying this perfect moment. It was magical !
its a lovely song. Personally I feel it would sound better live if Thom stuck to falsetto for the high notes. This is nice too though, definetly reminds me of the old version of Nude.
patrick crawford I like to think he's crying, the song is about he's girlfriend, 20 something year's of a relationship just ending like that must be completely devastating.
If anything, I would imagine it would be something like a guitar rumble in the background to raise tension to the bittersweet lyrics. But it wouldn't resolve and/or increase in intensity like Fake Plastic Trees or anything. Either way, I think this version is about perfect as it is now.
Take a moment to appreciate how hard it must be for Thom to sing this song... 23 years.. Thanks Thom
"WHOOOOO"
"shhh"
"whooo...."
cracks me up :"))
XD
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Yes, and you should too.
Now I'm crying
Thank you for posting. This version is beautiful, but very sad to me. I feel like it takes everything out of Thom to sing it, after his break up. sniff sniff.
Did he break up with his longtime girlfriend????
Yes, last summer he made an announcement. It was mutual I think. Or Thom says it was.
Yep, after 23 years or so... this is why I think this album and the release of this song especially is special, I think.
daydreaming and all of this album is filled with melancholia. it's pretty heartbreaking, poor thom.
True Love Waits had its share of melancholy before, but now I think the song has become "real" in Thom's eyes. There's just so much raw emotion...
Reminds me of the version he played as an intro to EIIRP on the last tour, really glad this became the final arrangement of the song. It's beautiful.
on the album, whenever the bass sounding tones spring up it really gives this song such an emotional depth.
damn, you could hear a pin drop in that place by the end. magical.
This was it tonight ! Finally he closed the mouth of everyone !!! Beautiful sound and atmosphere ! I was there so what a precious moment ! Well done
for god's sake, that's freaking awesome, i'm crying. the best live performance of this song

Such is live music. You're never going to have a completely quiet crowd in a large venue. Actually they were pretty damn quiet by the end.
Cam W true... i wrote my comment as i watched the video and she was getting on my nerves haha
best crowd ever ?!!
yes. magical.
thank you this is so beautiful
love, Radiohead
amazing, you can feel the strong emotional atmosphere...
how i wish i was there :(
Thank you for posting this. Great song and great video.
thank you for posting this! :)
And true love waits
and true love lives...
The moment I cried so hard...
loud whistles during true love waits seems inappropriate somehow
very.

Now you know how Classical music listeners feel when the audience doesn't stop their damn coughing during a performance.
It's really just that one drunk girl making noise lol.
just magic ! bon travail ameeps malgré le micro qui coupe Thom en deux, c'etait l'ambiance captée !!
Piano Pure Sentimentaly.
so beautiful. this is better than the new album's version. and also better than the original version, which was my favorite until tonight.
WOW !
Fantastic recording, thank you! Will you be putting up more?
No, I generally only record 1 song at the most when i'm at concerts these days. Don't want to be too much of a bother to those around me.
+ameeps respectable.
💕💕💕
Trèsssss bonnnn #Paris ...........shhhhhh tot ............Amour
Thom : Merci !
Love! This is the real shit yo
❤️
💞💚
Why people feel the need to yell and whistle during such a beautiful song is beyond me. Shut it people!!!
Ahh Studio Version :')
I want to say it in spanish: pinche rolota de poca madre. Que envidia para los que estuvieron ahi.
Mon vrai amour! Xo
Thom forgetting the words and voice cracking, maybe a sign of showing his age? haha. Love him.
the song itself is about remembering, and things changing with time
its a lovely song. Personally I feel it would sound better live if Thom stuck to falsetto for the high notes. This is nice too though, definetly reminds me of the old version of Nude.
patrick crawford

oh god, i'm dead
I wish I was there ;__;
You need to change the date on this to the 23rd.
Yes I do!
I wish Radiohead had a "full band" version of this song from 15-20 years ago. I'd be very curious to hear what that might have been like.
I think the song is a bit too personal to involve the other members.
It was never intended to be that way. Even the version from around The Bends era was just Thom.
The only one I had heard was the live cut from whichever live album it was that came out circa Kid A/Amnesiac
+ExileOnDaytonStreet it was the "i might be wrong" version

me if i were here: *cries so loud someone has to ask if i’m okay*
Does he say "miss you" when he pulls up his mic at the end?
Nah, I think he says "merci".
He kinda sounded like he was crying :/
That was so painful..
Why?
le 23 mai pas le 24
Thom Yorke added unnecessary pauses and chords to a perfectly fine campfire song along.
I dont know what I would do to the screamingg bitces but it would certainly end up to jail...
Why people must shout?!!!
man i love how THIS version sounds too shit asdadasdaosdaf i want this in good quality! T_T
People always ruin everything
Thom killed this song... just as he did with fog...
Anyone else secretly think they butchered this song with this version?
