Wheels are BMF REPR 20x9 Tires are TOYO MT 37x12.5x20 As far as lifting it. We dont talk bad about any companies we work with, but BDS and Pure Performance are really great guys to work with, and make amazing lifts! Thanks
Pretty cool that you guys did this the way that most of truck guys do things...with a jack and jack stands. Most of us don't have the luxury of a lift.
We did run across a few issues. I am not sure if it was just our truck, but we had a few issues. We ultimately replaced the short arm kit with BDS long arm, and replaced the track bar drop bracket with BDS and both seemed to work alot better. The way that the track bar drop bracket was designed we could not get a clean fit without grinding the corners down. And we found the arms to be about 1" longer than any other companies. There was not cutting or welding involved per the instructions.
you did this shit in your front yard lol wtf I did a leveling kit myself and thought I was the shit and now I watch this like fuck I have to up my game
Are the wheels 20x9 or 20x10 and what is the off set if any? And what is the actual tire size of the toyos including width.Grate looking truck by the way loved it so much I bought a 2013 and am trying to decide on a lift and wheel package and helpful comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
great video!! since you have done the install what are some of the pro's and con's with the lift? and also are you having any tire rub on the control arms? would be nice to see you do a follow up overview on your thoughts on these products and if you would change anything next time?
whats the tire and wheel specs again. would like to do mine the same as this. I love the video. I want to install the same wheels and tires to mine. i have 2012 dodge ram. thanks for posting. easy to follow. no sweat.
You guys eventually upgraded to the Top Gun Customz long arm. Was there a reason for that? I'm thinking of putting on the same kit, just like the one you did here, will it be fine for city driving and towing my 33' travel trailer? I don't do any off road. Cheers.
This is a good step by step instruction, but it may be easier to follow if you focused the camera more on the pieces you are working with specifically as opposed to most of the time showing you work on it from a distance. just my 2 cents
Looks amazing, I have almost the same truck and would like to know if 37's and 6 inch lift be to tall to pull a 5th wheel camper? if yes, what is the tallest I could go?
ok i got my 6' lift in on my 08 1500. now how do i jack it up? if i want to do brake or something? do i jack by the rear diff and the front control arms?
And when its all said and done, set the mirrors to douche mode..love it, my dad has almost the same truck, just basic white. But screw all that, if I have the money to buy this truck, i sure as hell can pay 4wheel parts or whereever to do it... maybe...

That totally made the truck! And that Snap on cordless impact is the shiz-nit!
We also installed a carrier bearing shim kit to allow for better support and angle of the driveshaft
You have an awesome truck! Congrats!

sick truck bro! I find doing work to my truck easy, its just remembering what bolts go where, is the trick part for me.
@w bailey This truck often tows trailers. So the mirrors out are needed. And why pay for an install you can do yourself?
Damn nice truck. Great step by step.

WOW handsome man and knows how to lift trucks! Ladies please enjoy!
I cant believe you did that lift in 7:13 mins.
Awesome video. Do your tires rub and could you get away with a 4" lift and still run 37" tires without rubbing?

The speedo can be changed in the on-board computer with a programer.

Glad it's a cummins, great choice
