When you leave saunders town site head west before train trussel theres a trail on the right go up to old cabin n go up a little further theres old coal cars n tracks that lead into hillside that collasped n some cement foundations around too.
We used to explore that area 40 years ago looking at all the abandon mines and townsites. Soooo cool! Good to know they are still accessible. - - - 10:06 - Was that an opening? I was hoping you were going out so we could see what was out there - lol - - - 13:00 - NICE! - - - Awesome tour! Thanx for sharin'!

Hey thanks for that info! I heard there was that somewhere but had no idea where to find them. I’ll check them out this summer!

Haha yes end of tunnel has a small opening. Day before we found the exit side, I’ll be posting some pictures of that.
Thanks for watching
That is the mine entrance. You’re correct.
I figured as much but that’s good to know. Thanks 😊
Is the trail to the east, across the creek toward Misty Valley been re established?
It’s finished all the way to Misty Valley. Bridge and Saunders bypass was just finished in September.
@@atvoffroadadventures Saunders bypass?
You don’t need to drive through Saunders townsite. You drive up to the old rail.
