Awesome scenery! I love all the little oddities nature has to offer like the gnarly, twisted trees, rocks, and spooky hollows. You're always great at filming not just the breathtaking views, but also the interesting bits along the way. Thanks for sharing!

Imagine having to construct those ladders. The west coast forests seem deceptively magical, and fun with all those ladders. With an injury I'm sure it can easily become a nightmare.
Really neat how they sawed the fallen trees into flat bridges and have people along the trail ready to help you along. They must meet and be some interesting characters. Glad you three made it out safe.

I will be going to Washington to visit my son and his wife for a week. I can't wait to see the coast and mountains again for a bit. Bigfoot is something me and my family has had encounters and seen one in Northern California in my camp in 1983 when my oldest son was one year old. I did not get scared it happened so fast. I miss the big mountains and clear streams.

@@kimmie6138 yea there’s nothing like the Pacific Northwest. Jealous of your experience in NorCal!

Great videography and really enjoy your dialog. Love the bigfoot episodes you created. That's what led me to your channel. And as a hiker the other episodes you have are well done.

@@mikewanders I will keep watching! This video looks so similar to the Maine coast but even more rugged. Haven't done west coast hiking, but have been all through Maine and New Hampshire and have seen some bears...but never anything like a bigfoot. Not sure there are too many sightings in New England.

Wow. That was amazing. You had some stunning camp spots. What a slog through some of it! A backpack counterweight pulley system could be cool on some of those intense ladders. But it's a constant maintenance battle in that lush environment. Epic!

Apparently the west coast trail is haunted could have been a spirit you guys saw. I’m from a desolate island off Vancouver island & legend has it it is haunted in some areas You should check the location to where you were camping to where you saw that guy. The trail was built specifically to help survivors from ship wrecks … interesting history. And well, Sasquatch roo roams our backcountry & are plentiful on Vancouver island 😊

Right! With so many deaths from sailors it would make sense. Even some hikers. That’s awesome you’re from there-I’m jealous. I spent some time after this trip doing some Bigfoot stuff near Nahmint Lake and then Clayoquot Sound

There is another smaller waterfall on the beach hike and I think that is maybe the Juan De Fuca trail section (or as someone scratched on the sign ) the Fuc* Dis trail. LOL
