Before you go and buy padding check out the dumpsters. And look for the couch cushions covered in vinyl.Tear the vinyl off while you're still there and pull as much of the fake cotton off of the pad. Again while you're there. And if you want your electric knife to last check out the tent and camping section of Walmart for electric filet knife make sure it can also plug into the wall some are only for 12 volt with clips rather than wall plug. And of course appliances area try to get second set of blades for it if there not too expensive. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy another knife. And if you do get lucky with the dumpster don't immediately take it inside beat it like a rug outside. And leave it outside if possible without it getting wet for a few days beat on it some more. Just to chase out any residents that might be in it.

You seem to know what you're doing when making hip pads Rachel. It's good of you to help other transwomen by showing them how to make them. They look good on you and very feminine, especially the medium sized ones that I think I've seen you wear in other videos. Your dress and necklace look pretty and the colours go well together :)

Ange 74, they can take some getting used to. they will slow you down, and the weaker foam will tear if you aren't careful rolling it down. that's another benefit to the stronger heavy density foam. the inconvenience is worth it to me.

Cristina Gonzalez, all you need to do is use a thicker pad for a fuller figure! i use 2inch think foam . you could try 4 inch thick and trim it down if its too much!

Hi honey I was wondering how can I wear hip pads without wearing 1000 panty hose to keep them from shifting throughout the day?
@jazzy18, I wear 1 pair of control tops, and the pads stay in place for at least 12 hrs.

Problem is that they tend to move like crazy, when you're sitting down, stand up, walk, walk up stairs, etc. They won't just stand in their place.
Chase Sandman, I could have done a better tutorial, and it has troubled me somewhat, obviously not enough to do anything about it . I would ask if the pads are making contact with your skin, or some fabric beneath them? mine have never moved more than downward if im not careful using the restroom.
@@rachelrollins9506 I use the same material as you, I put them directly on my skin and some stockings to try to fix them. Have you seen the silicone ones? Those may make them difficult to move. And yes, I mean downwards, that's real trouble because you look funny when they go down. Been considering a pocket panty where I can put them on but not sure about the practicality of it.
