@@youmadbro742 thats how they are trained to do it. its really hard to stop in front of the vehicle they pit. and dumb to stop behind it if gunfire starts.
Yep - it only took the PD / Sheriff's Dept. over 17 min and nearly 20 miles of highway to decide to PIT - in the middle of DT knoxville. They had plenty of time and open space outside of the city limits to take him out prior to him hitting a very crowded city. Stray bullets could have easily struck pedestrians / innocent motorists. I live in Knoxville, so I know the area well. From the starting point of the video until where he was hit with the PIT, 95% of it is rural. Yet, they waited until he hit the city to decide to move on him? Then, it takes nearly 14 cops to take them into custody? More like everyone wanted a piece of the action lolol. The PIT was executed well, but they shouldn't have waited so long to engage.
That was beautiful. The icing on the cake is the officer who conducted the PIT also exited his vehicle with a shotgun and approached like a boss. Well done.
Agreed, being from not so far from this area myself I couldn't help but notice that I infact did not hear over the radio advisory or permission to PIT, which is fine by me when executed properly, I must assume what happened here is the officers wife text him that dinner was almost ready so he had to wrap this one up...I would do the same👍 All these guys operated like a well oiled machine on this one
Actually if you watch carefully, it was a different cruiser that conducted the pit maneuver, not the one with the officer exiting his vehicle with the shotgun.
That was truly shocking to see. Maybe someone else with a similar mind set might watch this and realise what happens when you get shot multiple times. There is nothing heroic in his actions, no blaze of glory, just terrible tragedy and a waste of life. Your police officers are very brave.
Waste of life? He was never not a human waste judging from his attitude to shoot it out with the officers. I’m sure before it even came to this, he was probably not living the most honorable lifestyle to begin with. The outcome was too predictable in this case.

Please, always safely get out of their way when you see, hear their sirens.
How many officers have you testified against that you seen abuse a suspect or violated someone's civil rights. I'm guessing zero. Face facts you are no different than the criminals you pursue except you have a badge.
Nothing more hilarious and ironic than a cop that that doesn't understand why a suspect would put all the civilians on the road at risk as 15 cop cars chase him.😂😂😂😂😂 how ironic.
What I'm happy about: The perps don't start the shootout when being confronted with one or two officers, no, they start a chase and wait until 10, 20 or 30 officers are on the scene prepared for the fight.
I almost have to fully agree with you there. So many risks involving innocent bystanders/ drivers. I understand cops need to play it safe for them, but at those speeds? Recipiy for disasters still to come.

The chase should've been 17 minutes shorter as the cop that picked him up at the start of the video had the perfect opportunity to pit him on the on-ramp. No other cars around. A lower speed. Could have ended things quickly.
Thank them for what? They could have pitted this guy immediately. They chose to drag this out for who knows how long. The guy he murdered suspect, but they chose to put everybody else's life at risk. It should have hit that guy immediately when there was no traffic around. But did they do it?
You don't even know if that was the murder suspect just because they said they were chasing a murder suspect doesn't mean it was actually him , if you really look at the words , maybe because the cop said when he drove by it looked like the murder suspect , but what if it's not him , maybe the driver knew he didn't do anything wrong and he didn't want to pull over because people also think that way , and the text did not say let the cops were shot at first, the text don't say much of anything really all except where they were chasing somebody they wanted to talk to that look like somebody was actually said in the video by the cop, he said he looked like as he drove past.
