That’s not brave. That’s exciting (1) and duty (2nd). Some officers are terrible people and there’s ample evidence proving so, like the military. Then there’s officers of integrity and courage. -Respect to those officers fighting evil. -Shame on those officers obsessed with “the law.” -Thanks and gratitude to those officers who speak up against the latter, those who actually protect. The officer who crashed showed impeccable decision making skills. Putting pedestrians before himself. Well done, officers. The Dealer He was a trooper , More up their in rank. He was more skilled at driving than any of the vics. But yeah it wasnt cool but also don't think he knew his fellow officer was right there
The explorer should have taken lead anyway. It was better suited for the conditions with awd, traction control, stability control and better performance then the crown Vics. Nothing against any officer but the explorer was in the lead when the accident occurred and the vic closed in too fast and should have given more room to the explorer. Again it was a dynamic chase under not so ideal conditions so anything again happen...they don't fit in a box. Also trying to set up spikes on a highway on a day like that with the way the suspect was driving is a lot harder then it sounds.
I am surprised to see how many people in the US including truck drivers don't know what to do when emergency vehicles with lights on get behind them. You pull as far to the right and come to a complete stop. Also you should be checking behind you every 3 seconds so you could see this coming and get out of the way.
Lol definitely don’t come to a stop if you have two lanes in the same direction. Stopping just increases the likelihood of being in a crash. I’ve had that happen to people stopping twice during chases. They end up becoming another problem instead of staying out of the way. Just move to the right
Cheers for the officer that wrecked, great job avoiding your partner and the public. Given the slippery conditions, it seems you chose the best option. Hope you are ok!

this is so chilling. my heart goes out to the victim. law enforcement did excellent here
I don't care if she had an ID I have fingerprints and everything that goes with my name you guys had made a copy of my ID how close does this girl look like me the wrong thing officer that did what he had to cuz the only ones that was right God bless him
@@christinaserna6073 are you okay? i’m sorry to say but i’m not understanding your reply to my comment. can i ask what it has to do with me? god bless you
Straight out of smokey and the bandit when that cop crashed
Yes I just tried it with the music from Smokey and the Bandit and it went like a dream! !!!!!
That guy needs a swift kick in the ass from Buford T Justice!
GOOD JOB OFFICERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally agree
Seriously? Good job? this was horrid, they should have just let the person go. An officer could have been killed by another fellow officer just because of bad road conditions and heavy traffic.( bridge part)
Agreed. Hope this animal spends life in prison.
Morgan Sparrow + the no chase thoughts only encourages hi speed escapes because the perps know all they have to do is to go on the interstate and flee and no one will chase them. While they continue to do their criminal activities.
Morgan Sparrow, do you understand your message is pro-crime and criminals would get away 100% of the time! I could kill 100 people andsimply drive a stolen car away. I hope you never are raped or a victim of violent crime.
those Thp officers are supreme drivers. a notch above anything else
Heart pounding ! Fantastic driving skills in the RAIN. Split second decision making. Longest 8 minutes I've ever experienced. Dang ya'll are something!
that ambulance in the back just driving away lmao
Beautiful Pit.
06:45 Glass=1, Cops=0. Good job glass Mfgrs.
So you want them to hold hammers on their dutybelts too so they have even more back problems because of how heavy: duty belt itself, pistol, 2 mags at least, taser, radio, kevlar vest, baton, flashlight, HAMMER IN YOUR CASE and other things are.

CDC needs to investigate the state of Tennessee because everyone on the road seems to suffer from the don't-know-how-to-pull-over-to-the-fucking-right syndrome...
KevinSun242 EXACTLY!
I live next to Tennessee and people drive like shit in general
Seriously
Yeaaah we don’t
If you’re from North Carolina those are about the worst ones on the road
MY THANKS TO ALL POLICE OFFICERS,BE SAFE
.
. Excellent driving by the officer in the suv. -Joseph
truthaboveagenda I agree completely, except for the time he derped and ran his buddy off the road lol, shit happens though especially in the moment like that
That officer that got ran off the road was OK, right? He didn’t get hurt?
@@deerslayer6675 He didn't exactly do that tho. The lead chaser is not responsible with looking at his mirrors in case another officer is coming their way. It is the following officer's duty to watch out for all that. Despite all that, the following officer's quick decision probably saved someone's life. That guy has the balls of steel and i hope he is doing okay.
very brave police wow!
That’s not brave. That’s exciting (1) and duty (2nd). Some officers are terrible people and there’s ample evidence proving so, like the military. Then there’s officers of integrity and courage.
-Respect to those officers fighting evil.
-Shame on those officers obsessed with “the law.”
-Thanks and gratitude to those officers who speak up against the latter, those who actually protect.
The officer who crashed showed impeccable decision making skills. Putting pedestrians before himself. Well done, officers. Unfortunately we too often only hear about the criminals with badges and not the good officers looking out for everyone.
No more police state. No more poor protocol. Let good men do their chosen duties. Shame on the scum outside and in.
+Won'tRespond Agree completely! They do a thankless job most of the time.
Anyone have any updates on this case, know how much time he did for all of his crimes?
TENNESSEE STATE TROOPERS!!!
TimboTheRedHeadGAMER aaaaand virginia...
yea them boys don't fuck around. u better be wiling to go out suicide by cop if you fucking with them for the long haul.
Love how that SUV was tailgating an then forced the cruiser off the road. They got that on multiple cameras like a Hollywood movie.
It obviously wasn't on purpose, he was forced at high speeds into that lane by other vehicles that didnt move over.
The Dealer where's the fucking spikes you dumb fucks
@@justincarroll542 Yeah, you really expect spikes will work in a traffic where there's 1000 cars every mile
What is it with criminals and the ninth gen Chevy Impala?
I am surprised to see how many people in the US including truck drivers don't know what to do when emergency vehicles with lights on get behind them. You pull as far to the right and come to a complete stop. Also you should be checking behind you every 3 seconds so you could see this coming and get out of the way.
Fuck that the police don't help us I'm not there to help them I don't look out my mirror unless I'm turning.
Lol definitely don’t come to a stop if you have two lanes in the same direction. Stopping just increases the likelihood of being in a crash. I’ve had that happen to people stopping twice during chases. They end up becoming another problem instead of staying out of the way. Just move to the right
some serious skills on display here with that pit
That ain't no shit
Cheers for the officer that wrecked, great job avoiding your partner and the public. Given the slippery conditions, it seems you chose the best option. Hope you are ok!
It’s still a tragedy. They lost a good Crown Vic P71 in that crash.
Risking hundreds of people's lives destroying public property they can pick him up later it's not worth it Back off then the guy won't be speeding so down make it safe for everybody that's public safety.
Yea, they should have totes let that rapist go free.
They can track that vehical where ever it goes. They probrobly know who it is also. If for some reason they don't get him he may rape again. Or maybe kill someone be chased. The odds for public safety is no high speed chase. That is what its all about right public safety.
@@stra808x I’m not sure how to respond to this comment because it is all over the place.
This is the most insane police chase video I've ever seen, great editing by whoever put it together, too.
Now, that was a PIT!
This chase is amazing and this video is really well put together.
The fact that they kept up with the perp on HEAVY traffic is just insane and also props to the cop who swerved to avoid hitting an innocent bystander, split second decision
you support the public being endangered by the fake cops?
Yo trabajé. Haciendo ventanas. A quebrar. Y el vidrio de adentro salpicará trocitos de vidrio de esa manera el chófer quedará inmovilizado. Sin. Visio por un rato.
this one is about the video editing, but still a heck of a chase thru heavy traffic in rain. Oldie but a goodie!
yall need to put some dang rain X on your windshields

Holy shit that kept me on my toes the whole time! I live just below Chattanooga in Georgia!!!

6:45 What kind of window does this guy have?
Holy shit that is some good driving, dangerous as fuck. Got to respect when they are this well trained and good at their craft. I respect the hell out of the calm nerves, the communication, the quick thinking, and the noble cause. Holy shit this was really exciting, and even scary to watch. Sometimes you have to step back for a second and realize "this isn't a movie" and people were really in danger.
The countless lives that were put into jeopardy to catch this moron. I don't think that the Chargers were too concerned considering the length of the chase during a high volume of traffic time. This should have been terminated 2 minutes in.
@@DG-wu7ke And let a violent rapist go free?

That was awesome! Glad the cop didn’t seem to be hurt when he wrecked. Amazing wreck as well. That other cop probably didnt see him when he cut right, so the one who crashed had to avoid running into the car that pulled over.
I daily drive a cvpi....I cannot imagine driving it in the rain in a rush hour pursuit especially with the tires they throw on these cars, they’re absolute garbage in the rain. Respect to these officers 👊

amazing driving in wet roads officers😃
Great job and driving skills. After capture, they should have thrown his as* over the divider into oncoming traffic.
Props to the officer who beat the living daylights out of the car window without breaking it !
Nice to see ¾ of Tennessee drivers drive exactly as I'd expect they'd do :-P
You think that’s bad, try dealing with Northeast Georgia drivers.
this was so intense .. thank you for the amazing editing
Cops show great restraint from working that stupid fool over, these people who criticize our police have no idea what they see in they’re careers, Memphis, get over it, don’t resist ⚔️⚔️
holy shit! glad they got him. the cops shouldve radioed some big trucks ahead to block all the lanes
Dont matter what state, look at what the criminals are in almost all of these chases. That says it all
They need to make high speed pursuits an automatic admission of guilt and an additional 5 years.
That would be a breach of our Constitutional rights
Epic chase and well done on the edits. I hope the perp goes away for a long time.
R*pe, 13 Counts of Felony Hit And Run, as well as Evading Police, Evading Arrest, and Obstruction of Justice. Oh, plus several other driving offenses. He’ll be away for an extended stay at Hotel Iron Bars.

Holy crap that was some skilled driving. That was a 1 in a Million shot under that bridge trussell. Great job 👏👍
Finally, news network that actually shows the video and doesnt censor!
Super driving skills.
You gotta give respect to the suspect for remembering to use his hazard lights.
I just respect the humanity in the cops ripping him out of the car and beating him around a little before taking him in. I'm serious btw and what I mean is when you're willing to endanger the rest of the world to a certain point, you've lost that fair treatment that you would've had originally. A lot of people can't fathom doing something absolutely awful and then having to face a thing called "consequence."
His treatment was beyond fair, way beyond fair, too fair.
Wow that was amazing work from the police
God Bless our police
They sell those window breaking things for emergencies for $5. Why can't a cop carry one?
@Black Buick "new used Hammer"
What a beautiful pit at that speed. Did you see the dent on the silver car from being hit by the police cruiser like that? That officer kept control of that very well.
Gee-whiz, a black perp. How unusual. Never would have guessed.

That "double PIT" maneuver at the end, though! Lol. Skills!
Wow! That was insane. Nice job editing this. Most exciting police chase I’ve ever seen.
6:55 you could tell that officer was PISSED. i would be too
Good thing he was whamming on the car and not the perp.
the usual suspect it looked like just on his way to church .
The number of people who have no idea what to do with lights & sirens behind them is staggering. Yes, it happens quickly, but that split second it takes the rest of us to react just never comes to some people.
4:25 very selfless act that officer made, didn’t want to hit the civilians in the white car or his fellow officer so he put himself in danger and thankfully he barely missed the guard rail and the bridge! Just slid right under it on the slope. He BARELY missed the guard rail. Lots of respect to that officer.
The guard raile wouldn't have been too bad, those things crumple down to lower impact
@@Jordan-rb28 hitting the end at those speeds would have been real bad
Great editing.
Apparently, the stereotype about the intellect of Tennesseans is accurate. Almost every driver on that freeway was clueless when it came to knowing what to do around emergency vehicles.
Rush hour traffic doesn't give one a lot of empty space to move into. In this type of situation, just staying in your lane is probably the best thing to do.
