if you got an ECU flash, the tuner can tune out the servo so you dont actually need a servo buddy. a GRAVES full system is a masterpiece and includes a carbon muffler hanger (which is $200 alone).. the TST fender eliminator is much cleaner WITHOUT the tag light. the low mount bracket is even more minimalist!
The upside-down lock will fill the gap from my recent left passenger bracket/peg delete. Thank you for posting and a Moore mafia flash will be in the future. That dude knows what he is doing and can work his mapping magic no doubt!
Dope! The lock is actually right side up it’s the R&G racing block off plate that you need to buy! And you’ll be able to put it right side up assuming you don’t get the lock!
Fantastic video, thanks for sharing. What a pair of bikes to own! Just got myself a 2020 ZX6R Performance Edition a few days back, upgrading from a Ninja 400, so I'm just looking to see what others have done with theirs to see if it gives me any mod inspiration. I love how much you've done with only five miles on the clock, with snow on the ground that's the next best thing to riding I guess haha. I fitted the TST Nexus signals yesterday which I agree is quite the pain to do, those fairing panels beneath the headlights/handle bars are not easy to deal with at all, but it does look great, especially as mine has the honeycomb-effect fairings. Next up is the rear signals, either the TST integrated one or re-using the LED rear TST signals that I have from my 400. The bike already has a Puig screen and the akra (as it's the performance edition) so for now I'm pretty happy with it. I'm going to subscribe to your channel, I look forward to any future videos you make on this 🙂
I’m a Kawasaki fanboy to ❤ I have the 2018 KRT Edition with a GPR V5 steering stabilizer. Plenty of mods except the ecu flash an exhaust which I’m getting here soon. I’m going with Austin Racing for my exhaust. Getting a 2nd bike also which will be the R1M which I think is the best looking bike on the market in my opinion.
Can you give links to all the products you’ve installed please? Thank you! Maybe put them in the description so others who are interested might also check them out.
No that’s a great question! I don’t know if I have a good answer but I’ll share some of my thoughts: They’re different, distinct animals. Both bikes are very fast and fun to ride. When I bought the ZX6R I considered converting it to a track only bike with race fairings, etc. I still may do that, but I can tell I love riding it on the road. My local track has some smaller courses I’m riding this year and I’ve heard smaller/lighter bikes do better. The BMW is definitely my “commute to work” bike with the heated grips and cruise control. As I mention in the video, it’s seating position is very upright and more comfortable for longer rides. It’s also a complete missile (I’ve got a Brentune stage 2 on it). I have no shame admitting the ZX6R is probably closer to my skill level and more manageable, for anyone. I’m not afraid to completely open it up as penalty for failure is far less punishing. Liter bikes are incredible but for the road, a tuned modern 1000cc will rip your face off. One thing I love about the Isle of Man is most of the riders actually race both classes. They’ll race the 1000s then run 600s in the same week. Lastly, I’ve spent the last 5-6 years watching 650ib and other TH-camrs with collections so having a 2nd bike in my garage was always a dream. :)
Thanks man! That’s dope be sure to drop a video with what you do to your bike. The only place I could find Isle of Man break reservoir socks was on EBay! If you search it on there you’ll find it. A guy in the UK does them brand new and they look great. Let me know if you can’t find it
@@Utahforrest Thank you so much! Will drop a video for sure. Your mod video definitely stood out. I learned about Sato Racing as well. Looking forward to your videos.
I agree that it would be a shame to cover the graphics with the side grips, but really, those are the most important ones. The ones on the tank are not as necessary as the ones where you knees/legs grip the bike. Sadly, the only choices are to cover up the graphics, or get the (clear ones) - but those look a bit "off" when you see them up close, unfortunatley. Nice bike for sure. I don't think I'd have the patience to install the TST turn signals, though. I saw their install video and there's no way I am going to that much trouble for turn signals, lol. Kawasaki needs to simplify their design - as there are way too many parts/components involved in holding the bike together, fairings and all.
Yeah I may put the grips on the bike it’s definitely more where you need them. The stock signals are a great design. They built them flush which is nice compared to some bikes.
“KIBS” on the side of the front fender beneath the fork. I researched that extensively but that writing on there is how you confirm. Also, the dash lights up the ABS light. Lmk what parts specifically and I can drop some links
Great question. I too wondered this when I first started navigating tunes and flashes. The products I have used “Brentune” and “Moore Mafia ECU flash” are essentially the exact same thing. They tune the bike and remove restrictions, thus increasing performance across a variety of parameters. Sure, race teams do extreme tuning and engine rebuilds with full system exhausts, air filters and a plethora of other revisions. But most tunes or ECU flashes are out of the box adjustments to mass production bikes like the S1000RR or ZX6R to mostly remove Euro5 emission standards that come on these bikes and are highly restrictive. You’ll never need anything more than the flash as far as “tuning” goes it’s really the same thing. A lot of guys will do air filter and either full system, mid pipe or just a slip on! Good luck!
@@Utahforrest great information. So I will do a P08 filter, then m4 full exhaust system, then add velocity stacks, then the servo buddy then Moore mafia ecu flash. After I do all this I won’t need a tune right? And should I do the ecu last?
@@luaalshaikh5037Reach out to Moore Mafia and ask about that specific setup. He'll be able to get you what you need. Technically I can't tell anyone to go get their bike flashed. Everyone does mods especially engine flashing and tuning mods at their own risk. For example, I've never done velocity stacks but I've seen a ton of guys that do. The best thing you can do is talk to Moore Mafia or the tuner/flasher provider directly. Usually, they want to know exactly what you've done to the bike to provide the best possible tune/flash. Then if there are issues they can work with you to solve them. Good luck!
First off awesome bike! I just bought the exact same, I want to get my ECU flashed also but I haven’t broken in the motor yet with its heat cycles til 1,000 miles. I got the TST brake light als

ZX-6R. Good Bike.
Thats a akaprovic slip on ? Or full system?
Slip on. And I did a mid pipe
Good job on video
Awesome job👏 which brand link pipe did you use for it? Just wondering if some aftermarket mid-pipe is applicable for it or has to be an Akra link pipe
I went with the Akrapovic. I think it’s pretty important to match the exhaust.
Was wondering why you don’t have anymore new videos.
