Hi I do think this could be done faster in the micro owen but in a slight different way...I have done colouring in it for 30 years. Try make a spiral, have a red colour (or what ever you like) mixed with water ready. Put the Tee in same way but keep it down, not floating, with clean stones or cups. 5 min in max temp. Take out, cool rince. Refold the sprial and have a blue coloured mixed water ready. Put it down again the same with stones or cup. Water should cover it all..another 5 min. That is ALL. DONE 😊 add soda ash either in one of the water or soaked before. No lid needed. I have never had any problems or fire. Love your videos!/Sissi (I use Dylon. Herdins and Nitor, maybe only sell in Sweden)
O M G. That turned out so well. I was very dubious and then I was just amazed. So cool. I would do it either with just cool colors or just warm colors. Maybe that classic Baskin Robins color combo of pink and orange.
That would be cool! ♥️🌈
Love it. Even just with red. Or red and green since it is Nov 24 now. Great for a quick present.
Christmas colors are a GREAT idea! 🎄♥️🌈
Morning from Australia 🇦🇺 😊 cheers ✌, I realised what an amateur I am ,but I love alot of your work 🦋🎊🌻
Oh my goodness! This is totally amazing!! I really love the colors. They're my favorite.
IT PLAYS WITH MY EYES WHEN I TRY TO FOLLOW EACH COLORS SPIRAL 👍🏼 LOVE YOUR CREATIONS...😜😜
I had that toy as a kid. I loved it. The shirt looks very 4th of July.
Love how this turned out Steph! Great to see a new tutorial from you!
Looks good Steph. Curious what other colors would look like. Maybe it’s the blue and red. I’ll watch your third when you get around to it. How about your favorites, purple and green. I’d like to see black and yellow.
This turned out great!! It really looks like Spirograph art!! Love it!! ❤💙
Looks really cool, Steph, thanks for always sharing.
This is really neat!
Hey Ty, this looks great!
That looks Amazing
Im a dyer.. I don't careful measure all my dyes, I find that the variations in color can work really well!! I recently did a dilute rainbow swirl with black overlay and it looks INCREDIBLE. Each color has two strengths of dye (full/half). That gave each color section so much more depth!
I think it’s really cool. I like it.
I often use half of the recommended blue. It is such a strong color that it takes over most of the time. I find if I half it, I still get the color payoff that I’m looking for.
Great job Steph!
Thanks!
That's beautiful Stephanie! You put so much work and water into that shirt, what would you ask for it?
I love it!
that is pretty amazing.
Nice 👍 love it
Gorgeous ‼️ I'm in luv ❤🎉🎉
Just answering the burning question - what pan is that?
It's a glass pie dish. Originally meant for making pies like mince or pumpkin. Very useful dish.
Thank you for clearing that up!! I’ve always wondered. All I knew was it works great in the microwave. 😉❤️🌈
Cool tank.
It came out beautiful Steph!!!! Do u think hot water irrigation would work the same, instead of microwave?? Thanks for teaching us👏👏
I love this one just one question with the second color is the shirt damp like it is when putting on the first color? I'm sorry if I missed that part😊
Damp from the washing machine. I explain the entire second color process. Watch again. 😁❤️🌈
Looks great Steph. I’m going to have to try this. Do you think contrasting colors will work best?
❤❤❤
😁♥️🌈
Muy bonito su arte. Por favor cómo se. Llaman los insumos. Y donde los puedo comprar. Gracias por su resp7esta😊 respuesta
Wouldn’t 1 tsp be right for 4 ounces (1/2 cup)? I could be totally wrong thinking 2 tsp is for 8 ounces.
The (*). If I remember correctly, I didn’t calculate correctly. It’s been awhile since I made this video. 1/2 cup water… 1tsp dye, *2tsp dye, **4tsp dye is what it should be. 😬❤️🌈
Is there a reason that putting tie dye shirts into a microwave would create a reason not to use it for food?? If it is no problem, why wouldn't t one use a microwave on all liquid dye projects??? Thanks and I truly am learning so much from your videos!
I personally don’t see an issue with using the microwave. I learned it from Tulip which a major billion dollar company. They run the risk of major lawsuits if it isn’t safe.
It changes the way the dye looks is in my opinion. The edges look rough. To each their own. Everyone needs to find their preferred method of dyeing. If I’m in a rush I’ll use techniques to speed things up. The microwave is not my go to. I also do things to create content and teach. ❤️🌈
@@BelladonnaDyesCo Thank you so much for your prompt reply!!
I wouldn't worry about the microwave, considering all the junk in our food and it's packaging.
Do you really need a microwave on this process
No, you don’t. It’s just how I chose to make this one.
Too much work for me but I like it.
plz stop microwaving tiedyes :*(
