*I can’t express enough how much I appreciate this video because I’m using an 8-string guitar and BiasFX 2 but I’m making industrial metal but with a dgent tone. 🏆✨ I think it’s a blend of Argent and Industrial Metal. But moving the mic back was something I never thought to try.*
Can you get all this in the professional or elite versions or do you need to buy the metal pack as well?? I ask cause I saw a video of someone saying you can get their preset on the “tonecloud” but then someone said you had to buy the metal pack as well even though you bought the Elite in order to download it. Can you make Djent, heavy metal tones with just the professional or elite versions and not buy any metal packs?
Wish I had seen your comment a year go, but seeing as I just found this video, maybe I can help others who stumble upon this vid and comment. You can get a ton of tones out of the professional version including the one in the vid and more. As for the tone cloud stuff, it all depends on what the person who uploaded the preset used. For example, I have the Bias FX 2 Pro version and can't use any presets that include pedals, amps, cabs, or anything else that comes with the Elite version or the metal pack. That being said, you don't really need them, as proven in this video where he made a sick tone using the demo version. The Pro version has a very good selection of effects/pedals and amps to satisfy your needs. If you want to use the Tone Cloud stuff, there will be a little lock symbol next to ones you can't download, but the rest are good to go. You can even test them without having to download them first. TLDR; You don't need the elite version or the metal packs to get a sick tone. You may not even need the pro version seeing as Keyan did this sick tone with the demo version.
Being a six string player never owning a 7. I have many good quality and lower end guitars but no 7 string. Would the Ibanez GRG be a bad chose? have a few RG series but not looked into what the GRG is.
I can't get any kind of a decent tone out of Bias FX 2. I've tried anything and everything and it's just super crunchy and fizzy. I feel like it has to do with my pickups since they're EMG 808s but there's gotta be some way to make it sound better right?
@@hellodumplings8564 Positive Grid has an agressive marketing, - every influencer gets paid from them (its almost as bad as RAID SHADOW LE...). There are a lot of people buying their software and think its good and make them play better, but at the end its just a plugin. In my opinion, its ok for being a practice amp sim, but if you are after tone, especialy in the High Gain Area, there are cheaper and much better options (STL for example).
@@hellodumplings8564 lmao such saltiness. I've used bias fx2 and then used ML sound lab and neural DSP stuff, bias just doesnt come even close to these. Also, did I mention I'm a mixing engineer? Maybe you wanna know who you're talking to before you start spewing your shit everywhere.
Hello, I'm not very good at English so I've tried buying DI, BIASFX, etc. as per the video, but I can't make a cool sound like you...Can a guitar alone change the sound so much?
you mean the audio interface? i have presonus usb 96 and it sounds fat on di track recording... and tried this exact levels but it doesn't sound anything near this tone😢😢
I wish someone would make this tone from scratch cause noone ever demos actually making the sound, everyone always demos the complete sound and then glosses over whats actually making it sound like that and when i try to copy it, it sounds nothing like this, even using the same presets doesnt sound even remotely close.
Man, finally someone who does a straightforward video about this. Thank you dude, this is killer!
5:21 I love that riff.
haunted shores type shi
Great stuff man. I keep coming back cause I'm obsessed with that riff at 5:22 haha
Hahaha I was just noodling, maybe I should turn it into a song
This is in my opinion best video for a beginner to watch. Short and sweet :D learned something definitely.

mah gawd, this is an insane guitar tone. Ggz!
Man, Positive Grid should totally hook you up! In the meantime, I’ll try to follow this and adjust it to my 6 string in Drop C.
That would be cool hahaha. Easy done!
OMG man, that tone is SICK. Congratz!
Thanks dude
Tried this with my 300 dollar 7 string and got a Djenty tone!
Wicked tone man, that 5:22 riff is so hot please make tabs for it
Maybe!
5:22 this riff is a part of any songs that you have released? Because it sounds so fucking good👑
I love you man. Keep making these kind of videos. Cheers from Perú
dude i just saw you play at the metro it was sick
Hahahaha thank you mate, this very old video that you’re watching is the basically the TH-cam video that started it all HAHAHAHA
I just had to see what this 5:22 riff was all about! Sounds sick
Super helpful. Thank you.
I will try tomorrow. Thanks

can you make a video where you create a lead tone for this rythm tone??? and how you blend it.
very nice .Please make more Bias Fx Metal Presets.
Thinking of doing another soon
@@KeyanHoushmandLive I want the tone from Tool - Fear Inoculum
I also recommend a pop filter
Got one since then ahaha
great vid, thanks man! what song did you play when you compared with and without eq around 5:20?
Could this be achieved with the mobile version of bias fx ???
Can I record in Bias FX using a Neural DSP plug in? I want to loop/record with a preset from the Abasi plug-in!
Is this at all possible?!? Please help
Add a compressor after the gate.
Awesome video! And what riff is this at 5:25?
Just made it up on the spot, thanks man
What guitar do you use? It sounds really sick!
Thank`s bro!
You totally forgot about high cut low cut in the first eq block.
I did it but I must've accidentally cut it out when editing the video, good pick up
@@KeyanHoushmandLive You should add eq settings in the description for people who might be interesting in more detailed approach.

Bias Fx 2 is crap man, I'd much rather have saved myself some money and gone with a neural DSP or ML soundlab plugin
Swayam Tailor you are crap, that’s the issue

I use Guitar Rig 5, Aptitube 4 and Bias FX 2 and I have no shame in admitting that Bias FX 2 sounds the worst.

the free version but now ig they made it so you only get 14 free days instead of a demo you keep forever
What is your guitar tuning on this video?
thanks 🤘
Glad you liked it dude!
what is your pc system ?
nice guitar
Awesome vid man. I guess that my guitar just sucks then :D
I just uploaded a new video on bias tones
Yeah it's definitely not you

Getting the best quality signal into the computer before it goes through BIAS is very important

No because I was using the Demo version I wasn't able to upload the tone to the cloud. Follow everything I did and you will achieve similar results
