    What a coincidence that this video was uploaded now! Captain Enzo Paduano just retired on Oct. 27th, operated his last flight as an Air Canada 777 captain. :)

    Was very luck to be invited onto the flight deck for landing at BRU. Lovely sunny day. Fantastic views and one very excited chap sat in the engineers seat.

    Cool video. I took AC832 back in 2016. It was a great flight. The AC A330-300 may be aging, but it was pretty comfy in economy.

    13:27 Of course they have the "runway in sight" with that weather conditions and visibility, and obviously they are "landing". Why do they say that, when they are almost touching down? I thought you say "runway in sight" the moment you have it in sight initially. OK, maybe "landing" to make clear they are not doing a TOGA (yet). I think it's a bit strange anyway.

    • @denizfiratturanli
      @denizfiratturanli 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello. Every approach type and procedure have their own decision altitudes (minimum). At that point, you have to have the runway insight to continue the approach, so they just do the callouts.
