What would the repair price range be for a 1999 Chevy Tahoe, to only replace the roof skin and have a donor roof for the skin, no paint? Thanks I purchased a donor roof for my Tahoe and it’s the same color, trying to get an idea of the costs to get it replaced thanks. Love the channel
That would be tough to do without painting. As roof skins are so flimsy already. It could easily get creased during removal, but general roof skins are around 16 hours to remove and replace without paint.

I have a issue:- on Fiat 500L, 7 seater, I do not find a sun roof model , except for higher engine capacity motors(and the small one don't have as they are cheaper price) I have 2 option: to change the Roof entirely( I anyway want a boring white color for the car) Or live the Structure intact as was build and change components betwin 2 cars :- engine ,computer , & so on...? Wat is your opinion, regarding costs, legality, and work hours, on this project??🤔
@dumitrascuclaudiu7097 I don't think it's worth it for a sun roof. You are probably better off selling yours and buying one with the option. That's what I would do

for a roof skin it would be tough not to damage but it can be done. yes
