I've never had a laptop with this function before and whilst it's a nice addition, it still can be somewhat distracting. Plus, I don't know if this drains the battery quicker. Maybe, maybe not. The solution to this was so very easy and quick, thank you!

I accidently turned on the strobe on my laptop and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. It was driving me crazy. After watching your video and learning how to turn of the light, I thought of using FN + left/right arrows to switch between the colours and found that it worked. So you don't have to download the program mentioned in the video to change the keyboard backlights.

+1 to this observation, though I'll add that for my Asus Tuf (where this works) the right and left keys have the word "aura" on them, which reflects their intent to be used for this purpose (though I never realized it was for solving this nagging problem for a couple of years of owning it).
Anyway, I point this out because if other Asus (Tuf) owners try it and find it doesn't work, it may that it only works if the keys DO show that "aura" indicator (or perhaps if one installs that ArmoryCrate software, which I also happen to have).

you still haven't explained how to change the colours. If you are on the application then you should have shown us how to do it there and then. I also haven't found a way how to do it myself and I think that it could be because the computer doesn't come with this feature.
