Watched a few other vids on this topic but this one is the best, working with a real case (urban environment) and showing us how to get the optimal (non-distorted) result. I also appreciate the structured intro of this tutorial and the resources that were mentioned at the end. The only little gripe I have is the synthetic voice over but I realize (poorly recorded) natural voices often are equally annoying or distracting. Obviously we will all find out that The "HDRI Haven" website has been renamed to "Poly Haven". I recommend reading the blog post mentioned in this vid's header, it is the perfect complement making sure what you just learned will stick!
Dome scale multiplier, dome radius, and origin sliders have zero effect for me with multiple different HDRIs.. is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

My material ball scene is not a metallic color but a blue plastic color.
why? Is this ok by default?
