The heater was a flap that opened directly into the engine bay, no fan, just exhaust gases. But it was the best car in the world. The entire front seats flipped forward with a hinge at the front. I made more ‘friends’ in the back seat of that car than any other. Deluxe.

Meeting up at the mall of America and immediately getting kicked out of the original meeting spot and then the Oscar Meyer weiner-mobile randomly showed up. Was an awesome car show and the police just moving us over to the overflow lot was cool of them.
I live around the corner from your old W211 E63 wagon! Walk by it all the time. It took a nice hit to the rear quarter, but still looks to be in service.

I'm in Indiana and I'd love to know where the RS2 ended up!! ...looking into it, a blue RS2 Avant was sold at Auburn in Sept 2020, and Doug's video announcing he bought it was in Dec 2020. Would be pretty crazy if the same Avant ended up back here (though I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone who lost the auction to Doug in 2020 and bought it from him as soon as he announced he was selling it)

I sold my 2003 Ford ZX2 in 2015 and saw it randomly parked on the street a few years later in a neighborhood next to a disc golf course I was playing on. It had rear bumper damage, but was otherwise still intact to how I had it. I checked on craigslist for giggles and it was listed for sale. The pictures showed it had a few things removed from what I had put in it. I checked the carfax on it a couple years ago and it had gone dark not long after I had last seen it. No junk title, no registrations, no repairs. I suspect it may have ended up on one of those car trains to South America which is a bit sad. I more recently sold my 2016 Ford Fiesta ST to someone in North Carolina so I'll be surprised if I see that car again.
