Didn’t have any symptoms, but heard it can melt any time. Also, as I was doing the camchain tensioner conversion, I was able use the entire kit (new style camchain with gears). Basically, as I was doing this big project, I wanted to get rid of all the weaknesses to make it as reliable as possible.
Yes of course. You can use your old one, too. You just need to pull the wires into that cavity behind the small timing cover. I just did that actually, so it’s all cleaned up properly.
Thanks for the videos, these are very helpful, keep up the good work.
Thank you, will do.
What was your symptoms why did you delete the cam sensor. Put a newer module in???

Sooooo…you should be able to use a 2001 up cam cover without the wire hanging out of it on this with no trouble to clean things up correct?

Awesome
hey Aron, do you mean that if i have problem in my cps 1998 evo, i can bypass it and it will run normal?
Hi Peter, Not sure if you can by-pass it in an Evo. It’s easy to bypass it in a Twincam as you can swap out the ignition module for a later one.
I have a 2001 SE Road Glide EFI that had it and is now deleted.
Yeah, best to get rid of it.
Can you do this on a 2007 883 XLC that is fuel injected
