  • Hamilton has a great selection of trails for all levels of riders. In this video, I'm riding Felkers Falls, which has some fun for all riders' skill levels.

It's super fun! You have to do it. Even though it's a shifty walk back up, ride the Downhill slow at first as the is exposure on the left. The walk back up and rip it!

Theyve added over 10km trails on the inner part of the trail you took too, soo fun!!

I just retired and started road biking a few months ago. Really enjoying it and thinking of getting into mountain biking. I'm in Hamilton and would like to try these trails maybe next year. Great video very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you for this.
This is my immediate neighborhood.. and i've been exploring the trail environment on my eMTB the past year. I actually attempted to get UP Felker's Falls trail last Fall... got about 1/3 of the way after giving about 1/3 of my blood supply to the Mosquito's frequenting the trail.
I really need to have a better frame for this environment, vs what i have now, and the search is motivated further by your video.

Hey, great to hear! Getting up that hill would be quite the conquer. Hamilton has an amazing trail system, from Felkers, Kings Forest, Iroquois Hills to Christie's Conservation Area and more. If you haven't already, download trailforks for info on these MTB trails systems.
      Cheers

Did you ever get that better frame? If so, what did you get? Cheers

@@theaveragemtbr1230 No. for last season after the above commentary, i had to switch Gears, so to speak. The eMTB got relatively little use last year, as my balance had declined (health issue), and i had put together a Recumbent Tadpole eTrike to use the double track trails/do longer distances in the 2021 season.
That was so successful, that i'm currently putting together a replacement eTrike with off-road capable suspension.
I still have the eMTB, and it's fine as is, for the occasional shorter distance usage when my balance is ok, that it's getting now.
      Thanks for asking.

Shit! Sorry to hear that. But at least you are finding ways to still get out and enjoy. Both my wife and I suffer from Vertigo so I do have some understanding of the balance issue, if that's the cause for you. Get better soon. Cheers

What's the bike you are riding in this video? I'm from Hamilton currently shopping for a full suspension bike.

Would really be nice to be able to identify these trails that you're riding somehow so people can find them on a map, or on the trailforks mobile app. Any chance you could post a link to the route you took in this video on trailforks? Thanks.

To get to the Downhill you enter through the Felker Falls trail system. Once you enter the trails just after the bridge over the little creek. Stay on the main trail along the escarpment, there are tons of trails off to your right but stay on the main trail, it leads you right to the Downhill.
