This also serves as a good way to get comfortable using plenty of paint, I love that! I'm always concerned about waste but this feels good to be reminded about reuse.
So true actually! It feels like a lot at the time, but I love that watercolour stretches soo far thanks to water, and being able to reuse what's on your palette! I don't know how acrylic or oil painters do it 😅

Thanks for sharing... I started watercoloring at 68 (3 years ago) and had quite a collection going of convenience colors! I didn't know about pigments... your lessons would have been a great help... I'm seriously happy to be swatching my favorites! Need to start painting again soon! Happy 😊 painting!!! From a California Gramma ❤
I haven't painted in 18 months... however, I liked floral, floral heart wreaths, seascapes... all at a beginner level. I fell in love with Turquoise colors... greenish blues (Winsor Green, Aqua Green), bright reds, PR254, PR170... & magentas!!! I used to make vines and leaves with greens and blues. The Chameleon colors I like are basically the same colors... I'm fascinated by them! It must be rewarding to make them! To see them come alive on paper! Thank you for your reply!!! BTW, I absolutely love your voice and accent! Wishing you a happy journey with lots of blessings! ❤️
