    As a jet mechanic I was “PIMP” during my younger years, it was a good way for me to stay on my toes and no my trade. I also used it with less experience mechanics. Also with the Aircrew when they had a issue with the aircraft to ensure they had the switches in the correct position. The mechanics took it as a learning experience, the Aircrew you had to use more tack to not upset them. Thanks for the video!

    How difficult is it to make sure you are working on the correct level. I have heard of spine docs working on the wrong level and then having to go back in later to do an additional level at the correct layer. It seems like it would be easy to find the correct layer since you can see literally open up the body and look at the levels but maybe I’m missing something? What do you think?

      Repercussions no. However, it's not totally unheard of for a senior attending to berate and humiliate students for wrong answers. Some can be real assholes, but I'll tell you this. Often times it's stuff like that will stick with you. You won't ever forget it.

    • @Dingledong-kb5ne
      @Dingledong-kb5ne 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kaiser Hasmi greetings brother it is all dependent on what you want to go into. If you want to specifically focus on the spine go into orthopedics. If your interested in the brain,spinal chord, and peripheral nervous system I would go neurosurgery. In your residency for orthopedics you will do operations on a variety of different joints

    Did he seriously just call CRNAs”anesthesia technicians”? 3:20

    • @Marina65829
      @Marina65829 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really hope he didn't call a nurse anesthesiologist an anesthesia technician. It seems like he gives more respect to chiropractors than advanced practice nurses in his videos. I've seen him feature CRNAs on his channel so I'm surprised and hope he is just referring to anesthesia assistants (AAs), which are becoming common in Texas. Great video nonetheless.

    • @antoniowebbmd
      @antoniowebbmd  4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Anesthesia techs are techs who assist the Anesthesiologist put the pt to sleep. This is different from CRNAs or anesthesia assistants

    • @Eman1900O
      @Eman1900O 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marina Mantulenko there is not even close to as many AA’s in Texas as CRNAs. But even an AA is much more than a technician. That’s even an insult to them. Some AAs are good and are interchangeable to CRNAs in some places. This is coming from an SRNA. It’s an insult to both AAs and CRNAs that he considers either “technicians” but especially CRNAs
