Today, I was partying in the Intel room with *4* other engineers doing the kazosky kick
yeehaw spy is the worst class to carry the intel, unless they have a dead ringer ready when they die and come back to carry the intel to the base.
I usually find that to risky because assuming the engine was doing other things to help the battle you not only got him but also the entire team dropping everything they’re doing and chasing you down and having the intel disables the 2 things spy can do that help him get from point a to point b easier so yeah

I know this isn't very related to your comment, but dont use amby on gun spy just because, stock revolver does a surprisingly high amount of damage
minecraft steve it depends, on Hightower you’re mostly close range so the Annie is viable, but upward and dust bowl are better for stock

@@PurpleColonel you are loosing 3-9 damage and 0.1 seconds of fire rate at worst, and due to the 0.25 second faster spread recovery, even if you only bodyshot you will do more damage in the long run.

Honestly, when I played TF2, Spy was a good way for me to learn the back routes for every map, all the paths less traveled by other characters
And then i used those back routes as ambush points for pyro.

That's actually how I skipped like half of the steps. I played f2p while gaining experience and by the time I was (and am) good enough to top score consistently, I understood my role as spy, and how my team feels.

A player is innocent at first and they suck at the game but they're just having fun, then they start learning a little more and become arrogant thinking they know everything, only to realize they don't and fall into desperation, and then get humbled and gradually rebuild their confidence as they improve and become genuinely good at the game

It is best to learn other Classes, how they work and becoming an expert and efficient at them so that you can get a "Sense" on what you are dealing with, what advantage do they have againts your main, and what "Unique" and "Useful" techniques other classes can possess to benefit their situation and how to counter them.
It is all about knowledge and wisdom my friend.

Bennett Fedorowicz In casual, a godly spy can be a lot more dangerous than a godly sniper. In competetive, snipers outclass the spy most of the time
Oh yeah and also here are some popular opinions
1. The wrap assassin is viable
2. The Sydney Sleeper is one of the best sniper rifles if used to extinguish teammates
3. The dead ringer needs a slight buff, it’s completely outclassed by stock and the C&D
4. Flank Pyro is a hard playstyle because of all the memorization of sightlines and buildings you can jump on
5. The gunboats are even better for memes than the mantreads on Trolldier
6. The quickiebomb launcher has basically no downside, and thanks to its charge damage stat, can set traps better than stock
7. The hou-long heater is good in close quarters
8. The southern hospitality is objectively better than stock in most situations
9. Quick fix is a straight upgrade to stock in combat
One for every class. Now I have to deal with the angry mob at my door.

I started my Spy main journey, and man playing him is very volitile. Some times he's extremely frustrating to play and I end up just switching off and playing someone else, while other times I'm just playing casually while taking to a friend and I end up playing suprisingly well.

The one thing that happens with me all the time with phlog is other pyros using mmph at low hp, so you just stand still and click on them when the invulnerability ends. Also if you can get good at air blasting then you'll notice how limiting the phlog is

I likely skipped to stage 5 because I was already a weeaboo when I started becoming a spy main. I also was rarely ever trickstabbed because I was playing as a pyro and knew that tracking was key, so stairstabs were almost always complete fails. it took about 5 monts before one actually succeeded.

I've always been a pretty anti-toxic player in gaming and for my 4th and 5th stages as a spy main, I typically did all these things, but completely ironically. Once after getting spychecked by a pyro I said on team voice (very clearly jokingly) "Why didn't the ENTIRE TEAM abandon the control point to come save me? Worst teammates ever."
I do the same thing, and everyone thinks I'm being for real. On occasion I will ironically say W+M1 in chat, but I don't talk outside of some basic comms

when pro spy main misses his first ambassidor headshot, they blame 'the wind'

why is this exactly accurate to my journey of baguette man??? i accidentally pick him, think he’s cool, get some kills and seem awesome but i also play medic. then i turn to near obsessed with the stabby frenchman, would talk down to my teammates who tell me to switch if i’m not doing much and just dying. after a few hundred hours in the class and spending many of my birthday card gift cards and much of my money buying cases and skins, etc. hoping it would maybe make my trickstabs land and make me feel good about myself for basic basic kills(ie killing a sniper who has no audio on, killing a heavy with a sandwhich, and so on). went through a trading phase and got scammed several times, became a metalhead and listened primarily to linkin park, bfmv, i was quiet so the role playing didn’t quit catch with me. i took a break from the game and gained some self control and understood that players better than myself existed. now i am that guy who make you question if your eyes work and how that was a backstab, granted my aim isn’t top tier i stick to the stock revolver and diamondback. scarily accurate how much i feel and remember each stage of the journey in my own playtime and several thousand hours on this god forsaken game we all absolutely despise and love with all our hearts
