You have a very calm voice and relaxing music on the background. You do great job. I enjoy to watcing your tutoruials. Thank you being and teaching of our painting learnings.
I just keep coming back to this amazing painting of yours. You've really got those sea oats down pat! Thanks for telling brush size. Question please, Dell: Do you wait for the background to dry before you put in the sea oats? I see your hand is resting on the painting. So, essentially, this has to be done in stages, right? Thanks for being responsive to your viewer comments:)
Wonderful tuition, Dell; thanks for the advice. Could you please tell me: what is the make of your long-haired script brush that you use to paint the fine sea oat stems with, as I would like to buy one? Thanks.
Alan, sorry it took me so long to respond but I was out of town and had to wait until I returned to get that info. The brushes that I use are the Princeton Extra long liner number 3050 XL and Robert Simmons #0 and #1. The long liner is good for extended sea oats and the Simmons for shorter, thicker strokes. Hope this helps. Cheap Joe's Art Supplies sells these. Thank you for your comments
Good morning, Dell. I am an Englishman living in Sweden. Thanks to your kind advice I have ordered the Princeton brush from Amazon. I have come back to art after retiring but I find that one can never be too old to learn. Keep up the excellent work and I shall keep watching.

What color can you use in place of Prussian blue?
Probably Ultramarine Blue. It isn't as deep but has a similar value.
