The layout inside the house didn’t match the outside design. The bay window outside is far left, but inside, there’s room for the first part of stairs before the turn. Upstairs, it’s Jesse's room that has the bay window, but Michelle's room would be one to the left from outside. In Full House, the attic had a full size bedroom for the boys to the left. In Fuller House, it’s shown barely bigger than a closet and to the right. Also in Full House, it was very well established that Jesse and Becky's area was the attic which became Kimmy's area in Fuller House. Then there’s an episode of Fuller House where DJ's son wants something old for a school project (I don’t remember exact detail), and they decide he should look in the attic. He ends up in a never before seen room which is somehow the attic because the writers must have forgotten the attic concept was already used. It was cool because they had stuff like Jesse's Fred Flintstone costume, but the huge writer error for setting was hard to get past.
They also changed the attic layout in Fuller House. In Full House, Nicky and Alex's nursery was on the left side of the camera and was somewhat big and in Fuller House its on the right and really small, yet somehow 27 years later Nicky and Alex as adults could fit into that small area during Thanksgiving whereas DJ, Kimmy, and Ramona could barely stand in there
Does it bother anyone that after Jesse and Becky get married we never see or hear from Jesse’s parents ever again?

I was bothered by the fact that Jesse's father didn't show up when Jesse's Grandfather Katsopolis died and Jesse was put in charge of handling the funeral arrangements. The man was Nick's father for God's sake! As his next of kin (since his mother was back in Greece) he should have been the one to do that.
Biggest error for me was the stairs. There were stairs in the living room and in the kitchen. Whenever a character went up either set of stairs and the next scene cut to the second floor, they were always seen coming from the same direction--regardless of which flight of stairs they went up.

For me it was the garage. In season 1 the family turned it into a room for Joey. Then in the NEXT EPISODE it was a garage again
Right!? I started building the house on minecraft... and when I got to the second floor... I sort of gave up. Haha
they just had two sets of stairs in the house
I'm glad that John requested that they change Jesse's heritage to match his own background. It's extremely touching.
And without it, who knows if we would have been blessed with the amazing Papouli....I don't want to imagine such a world!!!!
I believe Mario Lopez did this too for a role he did. It originally had an anglo name and he asked if they can make it a Latino name to reflect his heritage.
And if Jesse didn't change his heritage to Greek we would've never found out later his real first name was Hermes.
It's funny, cause Jesse and Becky moved into the attic and turned it into a house. Which means there was room originally for Joey to move into the attic in Season 1. Or Jesse could have moved in there while Joey took the basement/garage, allowing all the girls to have their own room. So, the house only became bigger when it was convenient for the plot.
Also, sidenote, if they were worried about having limited bathrooms, why did they get rid of the one in the basement/garage?
When Jesse and Joey first moved in they weren't planning on living there long term originally. I'm not sure why Danny didn't suggest the attic to Joey at first instead of the alcove.
One reason- Jesse built it himself! Joey had no money or carpentry skills
@@lazyhomebody1356 True but Danny hired contractors when the garage got renovated into Joey's bedroom. I reckon Jesse didn't have that kind of money as to why he renovated the attic himself instead of hiring a contractor.

Pam Tanner's death. In one episode, Danny talks about right before his wife got sick and went into the hospital. In another, DJ tells Kimmy that her mom was killed by a drunk driver.
Actually, I don't think her getting sick was when she died. I think that was a separate event.

Regarding #3, someone else once suggested he got really into cleaning because he and Pam did it together, and his later behavior might have been him trying extra hard to stay close to her after her death.
I also agree that his messy streak and dreading having to clean might have been his grief over Pam talking, depression can be a beast and he had a lot on his plate as it was.

Nobody has mentioned the biggest continuity issue in y opinion. The twins, Nicky and Alex aged an extra year between seasons. They were born on Michelle's 5th birthday but the very next season they are said to be 2 years old while Micelle is still only said to be 6 years old. In the episode where Michelle thinks she was marrying Steve Danny tells her she's only 6 but the twins are said to be 2 in 2 previous episodes.
Eh, that's actually quite common. Not nearly as bad as Andy from Family Ties, who ages 4-5 years between seasons 4 and 5 (seriously - goes from being a newborn baby in season 4 to being 5 or 6 years old in season 5) or Cory, Topanga, and Shawn (yes, all three) from Boy Meets World who all age 3 years between seasons 2 and 3 (being in seventh grade in season 2 to being in 10th grade in season 3).
How about on the first season of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where Ashley aged from 9 to 12 in season one? (And despite that, Will was 17 for the first three seasons.)

@@COMPFUNK2Fresh Prince actually did it twice with the second time being Nickys age from season 4-5. He went from newborn to like 6 and they even addressed it in a semi fourth wall break
Television infants often age to toodlerhood fast so they can have speaking parts in the episodes.
Kimmy being pretty much neglected by her own parents is actually really really sad. She was such a lonely kid. The Tanners really did treat her like their own. I love that for her

@@socalgurl01 Yeah, Joey's room was the basement, so those stairs of course led downstairs. But, there's a second set of stairs against the camera-opposite wall. Presumably, those lead upstairs to get to the rest of the bedrooms, but that's what they use the living room stairs for.

There was a continuity error with Joey's room in season one that could just be chalked up to one episode being shot before the other and being placed out of order. Episode Ten is when the family converts the garage into a bedroom for Joey to move him out of his cluttered alcove, but two episodes later, he's back to living in the alcove and the garage is unchanged.
I noticed that too. I figured that they filmed the promo episode before they filmed the episode where the garage is converted into Joey's room. They just aired the episodes out of order.

Shows have done that alot. Something happens on an episode and a few episodes later it's back to previous.
@Amanda O'brien He didn't get the bedroom across from the girls until Season 4. They then converted Joey's old room into a recording studio while Jesse and Becky converted the attic into their own little apartment.
I recall there being an episode where DJ and Steph’s room gets a makeover with new beds and then the next episode or another episode shortly after, it’s reverted back to how it was pre makeover.
I didn’t realize there was so many changes in full house the only ones I noticed were jessie‘s last, Steve being introduced twice into the show and Jessie graduating high school and not graduating in another season.

When Kimmy pierced Stephanie's ears, they got infected. It's possible they healed up. I've had that happen to me twice.
In the first few seasons when she was still little you can see in the intro and episodes she has earrings. Kimmy doesn't pierce her ears until she's a pre-teen
Stephanie was supposedly wearing clip on earrings the whole time, her friends were judging her over it. That’s when Kimmy pierces her ears because Danny wouldn’t let Stephanie get them at the mall.
Judith was probably wearing them and wardrobe probably forgot to take them off her, forgetting that Stephanie doesn’t have pierced ears yet

@@andreadeamon6419 I remember her sisters being mentioned in the pilot episode; DJ moved into the garage and when Danny confronted her she was talking to Kimmy on the phone and she mentioned she had three sisters. After that they were never mentioned again and it became just her and her older brother Garth. I thought bringing Jimmy out of nowhere in Fuller House was silly but. I guess they figured it would make for interesting storylines for Stephanie to have a romantic relationship.

It always confused me when we first meet Steve he's introduced as DJ's cousin but then later in the show he became her boyfriend and they were played by the same actor I never understood that
@@ashleyollie739 Don't forget DJ was a young girl when the original Steve appeared (played by Kirk Cameron) and she was in high school when she was dating the other Steve. The cousin was just a one time appearance and I don't think they were ever intended to be thought of as the same character (although I guess they could have given the boyfriend a different name).
I remember thinking the same thing. I have the feeling DJ's first date with Steve was probably supposed to be a one time thing but they could have at least been consistent with the last name.

An inconsistency I noticed was Stephanie wanting pierced ears. She already had pierced ears since the first season. One could say they were clip one.. but she was like 5, and they looked very real.

Originally Jesse's first name was gonna be Adam, but John asked for another first name. His last name was changed in between seasons 1 and 2 to reflect his greek heritage. Also Jesse eating chicken frequently was Johns idea.

Steve is in college when DJ falls asleep in his apartment but later they argue about where Steve is going to go to college
That's in season 7, where they argue about him going to college is in season 6 the Christmas episode.

Thought of another one! The episode when the Tanners’ almost sell their home, there’s complaints about not enough bathrooms and Joey hogs the upstairs one for an hour. In much earlier episodes when Danny turns the basement into Joey’s room, he has a bathroom. I guess that was changed when the basement was turned into jesse’s studio? Lol
The bathroom thing always bothered me because in an early episode it's shown that Danny has a master bedroom with a full bath and like you said, Joey has a bathroom in the garage (though maybe that was just half a bathroom). So in that episode why would Danny need to wait for the bathroom when he has one and why can't he just let DJ use his while Joey takes his bath?

When Jesse moves out after marrying Becky, she fibs and says they cannot sleep at her (huge btw) apartment because of an exterminator appointment to spray for termites, in order to trick Jesse into both of them moving back to the house.
Jesse is a former exterminator-wouldn’t he have just taken care of the supposed infestation himself? 🤷🏻♀️ lol

Jesse’s last name isn’t a continuity goof though, the goof is John not asking for the name change sooner
I don't think anyone expected Full House to last beyond the first season, so John may have figured it wasn't worth asking.
Kimmy‘s brother Garth. Did he also, have a car name, “wild thing” or was he another brother of hers, I can’t remember?
To be fair, in the first season Danny had just lost his wife and the house getting messy could have been the result of depression. On the flip side, he might have become obsessed with cleaning as a way of dealing with his grief and it just kind of stuck, but I seem to remember there being references to him being a clean freak as a child so the first scenario probably would have been the most likely one. As far as Jesse's high school storyline, I think it was well intentioned as a way to encourage kids to stay in school, but the writers should have put a bit more thought into it, considering the previous references to him having graduated. I also remember in the later years there was an episode when he helped DJ pull off the senior prank (putting the principal's car on the roof of the school) and I think it gave the impression that Jesse had graduated (though I could be wrong about that part). I guess they were hoping nobody would notice.
Yeah I think the whole having him be a drop out and go back to school was something threw in since it's not uncommon for people to drop out and feeling like they can't go back so it was a way to promote people going back to school if they left.
I still say “Katsopolis” is better than “Cochran.”
Remember Uncle Jesse’s real name was “Hermes”. Imagine how lame “Hermes Cochran” would sound.

Biggest one for me is everyones ages in Fuller House. In s1 it is said that Jackson and Ramona are 13 years old. By s3 they have just started highschool and are 14, they stay in 9th grade until s5 and then start talking about going to 9th grade parties but apparently they are going to college in 15 months even tho they are 14 and in 9th grade for 3 seasons. Its never made any sense. DJ also has said its been 5 years since season 1 yet none of the characters age more than 1 year throughout the whole thing. Also Kimmy gets pregnant in s3. From s4-5 is nine months cause thats when Kimmy had the baby. So the timeline would be around 3 years since season 1 with everyone just not able to age? Its very confusing
Another one would be when Becky says her mom didn't like Jesse when she first met him. Something about her mom not liking that Becky was dating a guy with long hair who rides a motorcycle. But Jesse's hair was short when he met Becky. (Stephanie accidentally cut his hair and Becky didn't meet him until the next episode) As well as, Becky's parents didn't meet Jesse until they came to San Francisco for their wedding.

A friend of mine, the school let him walk in our graduation, he was short just senior English. He had agreed to go to summer school to finish. He went to senior week at the beach instead and had to go back the next year for one class. So it is possible to "graduate" but not really.

9. Since Joey and his dad didn't get along well, it's possible Mr. Gladstone is misremembering what Joey was sick with.
3. Danny's first season slovenliness is easily explained by his grief. Even things that are important to you can take a backseat for a time to grief. It makes for a good character arc/growth too, to see him lose any concern about staying clean to becoming overly obsessed with it to getting a wakeup call and toning it down.
That’s my reasoning for Jesse’s name as well. I’ve always excused it as such in my mind.
I agree that Cochran was Jesse's stage name because his birth name would be hard to spell. I didn't think that Mr. Gladstone would misremember Joey's illness. Maybe Joey had the measles at the time. I'm surprised that he actually sat and watched Popeye cartoons with Joey as he claimed!

@@melissacooper8724 It would also tie in to how his dad cared but was absent because of his career. He knows Joey was sick with something and spent time with him but doesn't remember what he had. I kind of like that Joey's dad was a strict absent military father which explained why Joey was a bit of a goofball and why he liked being there for Danny's kids so much or why in fuller house he was bit laid back as a parent.

How about when in an episode they make the garage into joeys room, but in the next episode he’s still living in the alcove 😂
they need an OCD guy to go through and write an episode all about Kimi's siblings and think up the reasons for not knowing them all. Maybe Kimi never met kids their parents had while traveling the world.

"Which one and why do I need to baby sit an adult?"

I have a big one to bring up. In Season 6, Episode 19 called "Subterranean Graduation Blues", the family is stuck in a subway on the way to Jesse's graduation ceremony. Where is D.J.? Why didn't D.J. go with her family. Both Kimmy and Steve are in the episode, but D.J. is nowhere to be found with no explanation. Candace Cameron doesn't appear in the episode at all.
Apparently Candace was visiting her brother at a camp.

On the Joey chickenpox thing, how much do you actually remember from when you were three years old? It would make sense that he thinks he's immune since he never got it.
I don't remember anything from when I was three years old. Perhaps Joey had a mild case of the chickenpox and forgotten that he had it. I've heard it's possible to get chickenpox twice in one's lifetime.
True. And there have been cases where people have gotten it twice in life.
Steve’s name could also be written off as him changing due to parent split (I don’t believe his pares are ever mentioned) he could have taken his mothers maiden name (I did that after my parent split) just a thought
That's plausible. Or maybe his grandparents adopted him and he took their surname. My friend changed her last name after being adopted by her grandparents.
I don’t think Danny’s parents divorce should be on here; that’s easily explainable
What I never understood is how much the attic changed from Full to Fuller House. It seemed smaller and they said Nicky and Alex’s old room was on the right, when it was on the left…the closet was on the right. And then in the last season when they were looking for something old for their weddings, a second attic appeared…? Where did that come from?
I mean when u walk in the room is on the right and the parents bed was on the left. And the twins could’ve moved out turned it back into an attic
No, they def added a SECOND attic to the attic apartment Jessie built. In reality the house should be twice as tall and have extra rooms hanging off on the second floor. Plus that wraparound stairwell that connects the two staircases
Another error is Jessie’s parents. His mom from season one is played by someone else than season 2. But he was never married before….
Changing the actor does not equal a continuity error.
Danny's mother is played by a different actress in season three.. by Doris Roberts.
There's a few others... When Jesse turns on the TV to watch Wake Up San Francisco with Joey to see Becky's answer, he says he's waiting for the wink to give him her answer on whether or not she'd go out on a date with him or not. He says "one wink means yes and two winks means no." She says "and hey Jesse" and then gives not ONE but TWO winks and Jesse gets excited. Lol. Also when Michelle kicks the ball into the wrong net playing soccer, and all the kids walk off the field after making fun of her, there's someone's shadow to the side, and you can see the shadow of the boom mic. And then when Jesse starts feeling bad for sending his two twins to bed with no desert he takes two blue bowls of ice cream up to them, only to hide them by stuffing them in his shirt because Becky walks in. And when she goes to hug him she soon wears a disgusted look on her face, because hugging him, she felt the cold ice cream seeping through his shirt. Only when he pulls away from the hug, there's no wet mark, and he pulls out the two bowls of ice cream and throws them on the table, yet they don't make a mess at all. It's clear to see that it's a prop, and NOT REAL ice cream. Also John Stamos gets mixed up on the names and calls Joey, Jesse.
That's a few of them too.
Some people can get chicken pox twice-and since Joey was only 3, he probably would not have remembered. Heck, I can't remember anything from before I was 5 years old. So, that confusion is understandable

Did you also know that his name was originally gonna be Adam? That’s what Jeff Franklin (the creator of the show) named the character originally but John Stamos didn’t like it so he requested that he change it to Jesse 😉

Because in full house the owner of the car was her “big brother Jimmy” and in fuller house Jimmy was her “baby brother”. Nicky and Alex’s room in full house is also to the left side of the attic/apt where they even fit to twin race car beds and in fuller house the room was to the right and you couldn’t even open the door all the way because of how tiny it was… 😮🤔

Since you decided to include Fuller House and the attic situation… how about the fact that the twins bedroom moved from one side of the attic to the other and shrunk in size too!
Then there is the issue with the stairs… sometimes they go up the stairs to one end of the hallway and sometimes it’s the other regardless of whether they took the kitchen stairs or the living room stairs.
Remember in Season 1 when they had Kirk Cameron make a cameo as cousin Steve? There was a line that DJ said to Steve about ice skating that was messed up. She asked him if he wanted to go ice skating tomorrow then when he said he couldn’t because he was going to a Warriors game with her Dad, she said Ok then maybe we can go tomorrow. ???? He just told her he couldn’t. Oh well.

There should be another video on "Fuller House" inconsistencies, because there are quite a few. For starters, Jesse forgets to bring his adopted daughter to Thanksgiving, and Joey is suddenly married with four children.

@@brennathecatlover4360 that was one of my biggest gripes with full house. They focused on everyone BUT Joey. He had moments but they never really delved into his personal life much. I was glad he had his own family in fuller house.

DJs age is one that gets me in Fuller House. In season one, she’s 39 then season three I think she says to Danny about being 40 with three kids. Then in season 5, Steve organises DJs Amazing 40th Birthday Race.

Also on number 1 on full House Kimmy said thank god my parents stop having kids after me making her the youngest on the pilot she had 3 sisters and she had to have been either the oldest or youngest since she had her own room which mean there were 4 girls so 2 would have their own room the oldest and youngest and the 2 middle would share.then after the pilot her sisters are gone and she has only an older brother then on Fuller house she suddenly has a younger brother and now her older brother is gone.

10- John Stamos offered the explanation that Cochran was Jesse's stage name for his music career and he stopped using it. It's not a great explanation, but it is an explanation nonetheless.
5- Jesse might have thought he was going to graduate, but was missing credits, then he hid his education status because he was ashamed.

@@heathermarriette5415 Being a high school dropout and failing class are two different things. Jesse claims in that episode he dropped out after how much he hated English class. But in the reunion episode, he said he was going to graduate tomorrow and in another he said he didn't wear a cap for his graduation. I also don't buy that Danny and Joey didn't know that Jesse was a high school dropout since they knew each other since he was a kid.
I mean I can buy that maybe, maybe he went to his high school reunion without graduating but you would think maybe one of his former classmates and maybe teacher would tell him "Didn't you dropout?"
It seems all off. Funny, there was Married with Children episode where Peggy didn't know she didn't graduate high school because she missed one credit. That was far more realistic and that show isn't meant to be realistic as it's pretty much a parody of these family shows.
I also didn't graduate with my class - i did the work almost 20 years later - but i still attend my high school reunions.

Another error. In the earlier seasons when Stephanie is younger she appears to have her ears pierced and it is clear that she is wearing real earrings. But then there is an entire episode on how she gets her ear pierced without her dad's permission when she is much older. Makes no sense haha

You should do this for Who's The Boss too. In season 2, Tony's in the ocean when they go to California for Michael and Heather's wedding. But in season 7, when Billy wants to take swimming classes, Tony is scared of water and says he doesn't know how to swim.
Some things were different because normally with the first episode they don’t know how good it will be so it’s not always the same. For example how you talked about how DJ and Stephanie’s bedroom was different in episode 1 from the rest of the episodes.

There is an early continuity error in the show cause after they converted the garage into a room for Joey it magically turns back into a garage for an episode probably because it was shot before it was converted but it’s air date probably got pushed back to after it was converted masking it look out of place which can happen in a tv show
Also how did Danny not know Jesse dropped out, this was after DJ was born, and Grandpa Nick isn't exactly one to conceal his anger and disappointment
Wasn't Jesse supposed to be Pam's brother? Genetics are, of course, very complex- and I have no doubt it's entirely possible - but it was still odd to imagine blond Pam and dark-haired dark-skinned Jesse as siblings. Didn't Jesse's/Pam's parents both have the dark Greek features?
I don't know if it's ever specified but to me it only seemed like Jesse's dad was Greek? Which would make Jesse nad Pam only half. But I haven't watched in awhile either.

@@majalovric6920 Someone pointed out that in Season 1 Jesse was actually Jesse Cochran, but he was later given a Greek ethnicity at John Stamos's urging - which was nice for Stamos and interesting for viewers, but it led to the "appearance" discrepancy/plot hole.

Cousin Steve was only a onetime character in season 1 and was never seen and heard from again. When Kirk Cameron came back in Fuller House, he played himself instead of reprising his role as cousin Steve.

Yes. We find that out in Season 5. Jesse was obsessed about finding cool names for the twins but wouldn't explain why. So DJ called up her grandma (Jesse's mom) to find out why.

At first I thought it was an error because I thought that you only get the chicken pox once. But then I realized that Joey could've had a mild case of it when he was 3 that it's plausible to get it the second time. Also you don't remember what happened at 3 years old.

Speaking about the attic one, in fuller house in the episode where Stephanie has a baby and the kids go to find the baby name and gown Danny says to go to the attic, which we all thought was Jesse and Becky‘s room but in fuller house Kimmy and Fernando‘s room?? When Danny said to go to the attic, the kids acting confused and asked if they actually had an attic? I’m pretty sure the episode was “welcome home baby to be named later”
And then the kids went into the attic and it looks like a normal attic but in both series Jesse and Becky/Kimmy and Fernando lived in the attic?
