A pipe had burst in the bathroom in the "train room" and flooded it. I spent a few hours that morning in that room clearing out the water and carpet and so on, and was pretty blown away with his hobby. He painted/constructed everything, all the trees, the little people... there was a full populated replica of Victoria Station in one corner, complete with the turntable that sends trains from various gates down whichever track. The whole room was an immersive experience. I was floored...
