My stage is shared by many millions | Who lift their hands up high because they feel this | We are one, we are strong | The more you hold us down, the more we press on! < Damn straight!
Every time I hear a Creed song I wonder why I ever stopped. The first album has some great songs that shouldn’t be forgotten like Illusion, Ode, Sister, What’s This Life For and more 🔥
“What this life for” and “Don’t stop Dancing” must do Creed reactions! Hell my favorite Creed song is a song called “Hide”! Still great other songs to do!!!
I'll call it what it is - THE CREED TREE has so much amazing musical fruit !! Creed, Alter Bridge, Tremonti solo work, Myles Kennedy solo work & Scott Stapp solo work has given us such an amazing library of music !! I dig it all !!!! None of it would be possible w/o these guys at the beginning 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 NEXT REACTION.... "FACELESS MAN"
Yall have to go see Creed live on their tour this year. They are absolutely amazing still if not better! The energy they bring is crazy! One of the best live bands I’ve ever seen
*SPEAKING OF CREED, Jay and Amber, you'll be happy to know that Creed is coming to Oklahoma City, at the Paycom Center, 02 November 2024! Y'all might have to go and get some video to share with us, y'all!* Creed is a GenX favorite. I'd have to go back into my old ticket albums and count the Creed tickets I've got, at least 25 times between my time in Germany to currently. Scott Stapp's redemption story is one to read about, Jay and Amber, that man went from greatness to homelessness to redemption to a new Creed album released a few years ago to a Creed World tour in 2024-2025. You'd love Scott's solo music; I've featured both Scott and Mark's solo music on my show. After Creed broke up in the early 2000s after Scott's departure from the band. Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall of Creed teamed up with Myles Kennedy and formed Alter Bridge back in the early 2000s. You two want some great stuff, their music is much heavier than Creed and Tremonti's solo music...Wow, just...incredible! So, you have a whole island of Creed / Alter Bridge / Scott Stapp / Mark Tremonti to react to. All I can say is, it will...put a smile on your faces! PS-You've got to react to Scream for one of your Halloween Movie Monday / Film Friday shows! Then you'll get why Ghostface attacked Dewey at the end of the video. 🤘😁
I loved Creed. The critics hated them, but everyone I knew loved them. I used to play a few of their songs in the band I was in. I think we played "What's This Life For" more than any of their other songs.
My jam!!! Human Clay had some cuts. Arms Wide Open is bittersweet for me - the day that made this song so personal for me was seeing the video before having a D and C, knowing my child wasn't going to make it ....RIP Baby Hardrick
Creed is awesome, haters hate because they think it makes them important, creed is full of a bunch of great musicians and in his prime scott had one of the best rock voice s!
Just saw them a couple weeks ago in San Antonio. When they did What If the entire arena was on its feet fist pumping & singing along. It was amazing! I got a great video of the performance & will cherish it always. 🔥
This was off their second album, Human Clay (1999). That is their best album by far, from beginning to end. Just about every song is a banger! And this song was used in Scream 3. I'm actually shocked you guys haven't jumped on that film franchise yet, especially around this time of year. All in all, the Scream movies never disappoint.👍
Everyone always forgets about the genius of Mark Tremonti. If you guys haven't checked any of it out, check out his solo group, "Tremonti". He has amazing music.
Scott Stapp's vocals are brutal in this!! Y'all should check out the "Scream" movie franchise. They were very cleverly written! This was from the "Scream 3" movie soundtrack and also Creed's 2nd album, "Human Clay."
I got to be on the second Creed Cruise with Daughtry. Creed was incredible. Both shows, were super high energy, such an amazing experience, everyone knew every word to every song and were singing so loud, at times you could bearly hear Scott Stapp, so awesome, can't wait for the next cruise to see them again.
The lead guitarist, Mark Tremonti can sing too. In fact he can sound just like Frank Sinatra and cut a whole album dedicated to that. Jay might like that!
When this CD came out and I heard this cut, I immediately took it out to my Van that had a monster sound system and speakers and cranked it loud. Before I knew it, 4 teenagers from next door heard it and came running over and were dancing in the yard. They must have thought this Old Guy in early 40's was crazy. But we played it twice. LOL
I saw them perform live for the first time in August! It was the best concert I've seen in my life! I hope you both get to see one of their shows! It's electrifying! 💯💯💯💯💯
I saw Creed with Collective Soul, Creed headlined. It was a massive crowd, huge arena. Creed was never considered grunge to a lot of people….they were more metal…or heavy rock.
Used to listen to them practice down from our shop….Scott and I had similar religious upbringing and he has struggled and hopefully found some peace love them or hate them they will melt your face off in concert
I saw them back in 2000. It was a great show. They were back at the same venue last week, but I missed it. I'm still hoping to see them again some time!
I know some people have expressed dislike for this band partly because of their obvious Christian elements but, though I'm non religious I do enjoy this band. They have some great rocking songs and this is one of them.
Creed’s song ‘What If’ explores deep themes of revenge, truth and the consequences of our actions. The lyrics begin with a sense of disorientation and loss of purpose, where the lyrical self feels overwhelmed by the words of others that lack solid foundation. There is a critique of those who speak with ‘forked tongues’, revealing falsehood and venom in words that can deeply wound a person. The song’s chorus presents a series of rhetorical questions that question the idea of retribution and justice. ‘What if you did this? What if you lied? What if I avenge? What if an eye for an eye?’ These questions raise the possibility of revenge and the moral implications of responding to evil with evil. A reference to ‘an eye for an eye’ evokes the ancient biblical law of retaliation, but also suggests the possibility of an endless cycle of revenge. The song also addresses collective strength and resilience. The lyrical self mentions a shared stage of millions rising up in solidarity despite oppression. The message is clear: hate and revenge can consume the mind and control a person's life, but there is power in asking questions and seeking a different path. 'What If' is an invitation to reflect on the consequences of our choices and the possibility of breaking the cycle of negativity with understanding and questioning.
Great stuff…but still a shame you guys haven’t touched Alter Bridge yet (which rose from the ashes of Creed). You have to check out Blackbird by Alter Bridge.
Faceless Man is one of the band's favorites. Scott would usually take it easy during rehearsals to save his voice, except for on Faceless Man. He couldn't help but get into it.
This is the third reaction video I’ve seen for this song. Every one of them stops the song during the bridge and that is hilarious to me. It’s funny because in the movie Scream 3, cotton’s girlfriend turns off the stereo during the bridge and immediately gets shwacked 😂
Have you both ever considered doing duets. If so check out Bryan's Adam's and legend Tina Turner, George Michael and Elton John, Annie Lennox and legend Aretha Franklin
Hi Ms. Amber and Mr. Jay Rob Squad Reactions I'm Really Love Creed This is My All Time Favorite Rock Bands I'm really into. I'm Really Love Any Creed 's Songs that they do. I'm glad you really are Enjoy into Creed Music and Songs❤😍🥰
I remember when Creed were considered the up and coming hot band, and then their second album, Human Clay, went ballistic and several singles from it were on constant radio rotation and people regularly began claiming that Creed was their favorite band. Their concerts regularly sold out nationally. Shortly thereafter, like many popular bands, there came a backlash, and suddenly it was cool to diss Creed and say they sucked. The fact that Scott Stapp ended up in the press with occasional run-ins with paparazzi and then the police didn’t help. (He got help for his alcoholism soon afterward and was fine again.) But nothing had changed with their music. Their popularity faded as the early 00s continued and the music industry began changing in the wake of the Napster and music file sharing controversy and then the advent of iTunes and the iPod and the slow decline of CDs and radio in favor of music streaming. But as other commenters have pointed out, the band is still together and making music and touring!
When this came out I would listen to it on repeat at work if I was behind on my quota, it would amp me out and help me get it done. Mad flashbacks. Thank you At my house they'd say "If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. And yes, that did not age well. It was a different time.
Love that "fifth" quote! (Stealing, but will properly footnote.) Version I grew up with was "Wish in one hand, sh$t in the other. See which one fills up first."
Creed...people either love them or dislike them. I love Creed 🤘 ❤
Just like Nickleback,lol
I love Creed, Nickelback, 3 doors down CD etc. 👌 ❤🎶
Creed…at least they’re not Nickelback
"Can't sleep beneath the trees of wisdom, cause your axe has cut the roots that feed them"... This is a banger...

Great reaction, Squad! BTW, that Scream 3 soundtrack, which includes this song, is GOATED.

For a bit of backstory this song was used for the movie Scream 2. That security guard at the beginning was a cop in the franchise.

"A Thousand Faces" is a good song from Creed you might want to take a listen to.
I love some Creed, so many others hate them and I can’t understand why! Same for Nickelback! Please do “Overcome” by Creed!
"If if was a fifth we'd all be drunk" FO REAL!
Hayley Williams was such an extreme headbanger that she messed up her neck. The band even made merch using her X-ray. Iconic
Lmao at Amber's stank face to these Creed lyrics...they were a love them or hate them kind of band but nobody can deny they made some bangers.
