Truly, a real pleasure to see you back here once again! I feel your pain with the cancelled flight and long hours of travel. Been there done that myself. I’ve never been to Germany so I am of no use for suggestions. All that comes to mind at the moment is Brandenburg Gate, what’s left of the Berlin Wall, the industrial rock band Rammstein, and drink beer! I will be anxiously awaiting for your videos from Berlin! I hope all goes (or went) well! 🙏😁👍
What a trip man 😵💫. A canadian zombie walking around berlin's biggest train station ending in a taxi to fall into the hilton bed... brilliant 🤩🥳. Nice you've been here in germany. And thanks god; no KRANKENHAUS for you. 😆 Cheers bro, awesome video! 🍻
As a Canadian you may like to hear that those twin-decker trains are a design by Bombardier. The company Bombardier-Transportation, though, was overtaken by Alstom. As „Regio-Express“ those red units are mainly used as commuter trains, serving the links between major cities and the surrounding smaller ones.
Been there, done that. If it's your first time navigating to Berlin, through Brandenberg airport via FEX and you're jetlagged, it is no fun, as you know.
@@ManiacsWorld Yeah. I went through Frankfort from Philly and that was a nightmare. Then figuring out the FEX tickets at BER was annoying as you found out, then finding my way out of DBH was the cherry on top. Fortunately I was staying across from the Cube and I hit the bed hard when I finally got into the room. Have fun traveling, it's a bear but worth it.
@@ernietech-101 Man did I ever hit the bed hard that first night! The FEX ticket issue was tricky but mostly because the first machine I went, as you can see in the vid, was malfunctioning and registered a double press each time I touched the screen. It took me a bit to figure that out which is why I was so confused at first haha! All worth it in the end. Really appreciate the comments thanks!
So the airport express train took around 30 minutes to get to Berlin central station, then I took a taxi about 15 minutes to my hotel as seen in the video.
Yeah, the first machine had a malfunctioning touch screen, it was annoying but thankfully the other machine worked. Good to know it wasn't just me, haha😁
Ahh, good eye! I edited that part out, but yes I did actually validate my ticket in the little machine at the platform. I did hear about the fine so I made sure to click it 😁 Appreciate you for commenting!

Never been to Germany as yet! Taxi small talk 🚖🙃 🍄
Yeah, actually I had no video for that because I accidentally turned the camera on while in my pocket, decided to use it 😁
Ive been to Berlin a few times now and i always chose a hotel near to public transport connections as the trains/trams/buses are so cheap and frequent
Yeah that is generally what I would do. It really does make things easier. Thanks for the comment 💯
Safe travels watching from Thailand 🇹🇭
Likewise! I hope you're enjoying the Land Of Smiles 🍻

I have been on trips like that and they wear you out.
Yeah, the travel can be tiresome, but mostly the experiences are worth it.
Yeah I love it. Been going full time now since 2021 and loving every minute.@@ManiacsWorld
Hi. How long did it take you to get from the airport to the city centre?
So the airport express train took around 30 minutes to get to Berlin central station, then I took a taxi about 15 minutes to my hotel as seen in the video.
DB ticket machines are a nightmare to anyone.
Yeah, the first machine had a malfunctioning touch screen, it was annoying but thankfully the other machine worked. Good to know it wasn't just me, haha😁
@@ManiacsWorld I remember my nervous breakdown in Hamburg. Loads of people queuing behind me and I just wanted my ticket.
@@christianx8494 I was so happy it wasn't busy at that moment or I would've felt the same thing 🤣
What camera are you using?
Hey! So I'm still using the classic Sony FDR X3000. Let me know if you have any other questions 👍
HEY BRO you forget to click your ticket before going on the express 100Euro!!!!!!
Ahh, good eye! I edited that part out, but yes I did actually validate my ticket in the little machine at the platform. I did hear about the fine so I made sure to click it 😁 Appreciate you for commenting!
I've said it before and I'll say it again... the worst part of traveling is traveling
Haha yeah, that was a long day (and a half). But in the end somehow always worth it 😎
