Až s dojetím sleduji, jak dávají Vaše ruce znovu život věcem, vyhozeným, poničeným, takovým, které vytvořily ruce řemeslníků před dávnou dobou. Řemeslná dokonalost, účelnost a krása těchto věcí, které sloužily mnoho a mnoho let je důkaz toho, jací byli všichni ti lidé, kteří tyto věci vytvořili, šikovní a kreativní. Bude mi už 70 let a mnohé věci znám. Můj děda i táta byli kováři s rukama ze zlata, dodnes mám nádhernou kovanou růži starou 110 let, ale už jsou to jen vzpomínky. Dnes máme kolem sebe jen odpad.
Hodně zdraví Vám, ale i radost nám, kterým pohladí duši Vaše videa, kde vracíte těmto původně obyčejným a praktickým věcem nový lesk a nám starým návrat do doby, kdy měli tyto věci svoje místo a účel. Děkuji.

I would LOVE to know the 'backstory' on this one... Usually we see both pairs of hands, but not so much on this one! I'll bet that Veronica took one look at what he started with and said "If you want to restore that, then just let me know when you finish it, because you basically have to build a NEW one!" Tremendous work as always!

Noodles with butter, poppy seed, etc. - just like my father. He got it from his father who got if from his father's mother who came from Praha. I still make it. I may be from America but my family, and their food, came from all over Europe.

When, on leaving school, I started work in a motor garage. Here I was always told two things: 1) Cleanliness is next to Godliness. And 2) Preparation is 90% of a well finished job. The VERY high standard of your work would seem to bear this out. Another beautiful & usable instrument. Thank you both !

Сколько у Вас терпения, навыка ... разобрать всё до винтика , вычистить, подлатать, что то сделать новое и снова собрать..... Это залипательно....

Is this grinder for an individual household so the baker could get their home grown poppy seeds, or for a bakery? Will Veronika be making Poppy Seed rolls? At first I didn’t realize how much work was going to be needed to get the grinder back to like New Condition. Far more parts and thin pieces of metal. Your Magic touch is getting better and better!

To think, one day someone started using this tool just like they have done many times before. They did what needed to be done and left the tool thinking they would be using it again in the near future. The tool sat and waited. Time passed and no one came back. Months turned into years and years became decades. The machine was found one day but due to time was left inoperable. Sold as an antique someone bought it and looked at the machine with a sparkle in their eye. They brought it home and recorded the restoration for the world to see. What was new years ago and made old by age. Is made new once again and used by loving hands.

Looks like you hit one of your nails, Radek, not a nail, with the hammer. I bet you said "Oh Golly Gosh, That Hurt". That grinder was in terrible shape, it looked like it had been buried.
