    Wow. I've seen several videos on this topic and this is the most well illustrated coz of the ff:
    1. Your voice is so pleasant in my ears
    2. The illustration of your video using x and lines will really stick to our mind.
    3. Straight to the point on how to do it unlike others, they have side comments which could distract us.
    Maraming salamat.

    I actually just learned the "mirror system" today for kick shots and as soon as i saw you line up to the opposite pocket it clicked it's exactly the same only cutting the table in half rather than doubling it made my whole day because this seems much easier than trying to imagine a mirrored table

    I think your doing a good job on your videos hope you keep them coming. Can you tell me about your table rails an cloth ? Thanks

    • @billiards4U
      @billiards4U  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Charles-cz1pw My table is an old valley model 13. I replaced the rails with penguin brand pro pocket rails so the pockets are 4.25" wide. The rails and table are covered with simonis 760 cloth in the color tournament blue. It is as close as you can get to playing on a diamond table without paying thousands for a diamond table

      Thanks going to do same to my valley

    Nice video. Your kick example is when the two balls are close to parallel. Can this still work if the object ball is closer to the opposite rail?

    • @billiards4U
      @billiards4U  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes,, this system works no matter how the balls are situated. You may have to make slight adjustments to longer kicks and banks that require a harder hit on the cue ball. Harder hit balls will rebound at a reduced angle. I am working on part 2 of this video where I discuss how to account for speed variations and off center cue ball hits when banking and kicking.

    Hej från Sverige.
    You dont have the tip of the que at the same lenght from the wall all the time when aiming?
    The aim goes towards the Wall right?
    Hope you understand 😊
    Tack...

      I am not sure if I understand what you are referencing but I will attempt to answer your question. When I put the tip of my pool cue next to the rail before I shift the back of my pool cue to the half way point, the tip of my pool cue is always at the same spot. Right next to the rail. When I shift my pool cue up table, I do move the tip of my pool cue sometimes because the aiming point can be where the cue tip is placed or where it is pointing. When I shift my pool cue the placement of the tip in relation to the rail is not important as long as I shift the correct angle. Did I answer your question? I will be doing a part 2 of this video in the next couple of weeks. If there is still confusion, the second video may help.

    How do you know where to put the butt of your cue?

    • @billiards4U
      @billiards4U  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      On a bank shot, the butt of the cue is moved until the pool cue splits the distance between the object ball and the called pocket.

      This is the exact question that I had. The video makes so much more sense now when you make that adjustment with regards to the bank and the butt.

    Does this work on the long rail?

    • @billiards4U
      @billiards4U  ปีที่แล้ว

      It does to a certain extent...let me explain. Speed is a huge variable when banking. Even when the cue ball is hit dead center, as a bank shot is hit with more speed the rebound angle decreases. Since banks shots hit towards the short rail have a longer distance to travel to the pocket, you have to hit the shot with more speed. So, you will usually need to aim the bank wide to compensate. I am in the process of producing a video on this topic. I will post the link to your comment when I upload it.

    Does this work with cross banks?

    • @billiards4U
      @billiards4U  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! Yes, the same process works for cross banks. I will be posting a second banking video where I will discuss cross banks, long banks, and how to compensate for speed and english. So stay tuned....
