It infuriates me that states and counties will come together to help other states and counties but no federal help at all. Where’s FEMA? The Feds take the most of our taxes but we have to share local resources to survive.

The federal government requires that the state governors issue a disaster declaration in order for emergency funds to be released. Because points of access where video could be taken were under immediate threat! The point where these pics were taken were immediately overrun with water! I was there this morning and not 20 minutes later chunks of boulders and logs and houses and trees were smashing against the bridge! The bridge itself can act like a dam and water wants to keep flowing and if you deflect it it will go sideways until it can find the lowest point and continue it's path!
This was a video. Not sure why they chose not to feature it but I watch them record it so I know it's video. WJHL 11 news also has drone footage of the area.

The oceans are unusually warm. We know for a fact it fuels storms like this and we see that it doesn’t just impact coastlines but way inland too because everything is interconnected. Is it caused by human activity? I don’t know for sure. But you’ve got 8 billion humans burning more and more fossil fuels for decades and decades and decades. What happens if you leave your car running in a closed garage, even for a short while? Does it get hot? Can you breathe in there? We burn all these fossil fuels and the atmosphere keeps in the heat and the carbon dioxide and we keep destroying more and more trees and rain forests in the interest of ‘developing’ the land for more and more homes and to create farmland for crops and pastures. Does it make a difference? I don’t know. If you cut off one of your arms does it make a difference or does it just grow back?
The greenhouse gasses let light from the sun in but don’t let the heat out, just like a greenhouse. We know it’s from burning fossil fuels because of the ratios of carbon isotopes.
