I have really lost fate in the Warriors franchise as of late, but your content both here and on your rare weapons channel, remind me why I loved the franchise in the first place. Here's to hoping a return to greatness for the games in the near future.
Thanks. Tbh I don't think the (DW) games will ever be good again, they're really disconnected from the fans. Kind of wish Koei would be bought by someone that gives a toss like Nintendo
dw9 sucked, but ive been getting into the franchise alot recently by playing sw4 and spirit of sanada for the first time. Spirit of sanada has quickly turned into one of my most favourite games of all time.
Oh, great, I feel like I needed a video like this one for some reason. Looking forward to seeing more from you! Also, a very well-deserved shout out to DjMo12, the guy is insane.
Honestly it’s a little hard for me to get into the newer Warriors games. Don’t get me wrong they are good but it’s just WAY too easy now. I remember when getting 1000 meant something now you can get 1000 kills in a single combo. 😔
@@shadowandroid1823 I disagree, difficulty now is a damage sponge boss with 1 shot ability. Back in the day it was smarter ai for the enemies and they actually thought well. Peons also mattered atleast in DW2 and DW3 as they were quite strong and smart and would interrupt your combos on officers if you positioned yourself poorly. I find the difficulty of the older games to be more fair and more skill reliant if you make it or not. I much more prefer a intense battle with smart ai than piss poor ai damage sponges with 1 shot abilities. Of course not everything was perfect in the older games either but i think especially DW3 has a great difficulty balance as even with everything maxed Very hard on XL will be hard on the hardest maps like Wu Zhang Plains or He Fei Castle

For Sima Yi’s 5th weapon in DW3XlL, you cannuse speed scroll instead of red hare, jump off the bridge and use his running square attack to move super fast. Using this method I got the weapon pretty comfortably with like 1 min 30s left til the 9 min mark
Honestly, none of the 5th weapons were too bad for me in DW3XL. The worst DW3 weapon for me was Zhuge Liang’s 4th weapon in DW Vanilla specifically. The old bodyguards sucked and Zhuge Liang is awful to play a max difficulty stage. XL bodyguards obviously make it a breeze but that is easily one of the hardest Koei weapons to get especially for PS2 era games.
Overall, I think DW4XL had the hardest final weapon requirements . Expert is hard enough (harder than 3XL Very Hard to me) much less with ridiculous conditions for some of them
Can't really argue with any of these.
