    Nice looking saber and good video. Going forward consider putting the music at a lower volume because you're soft spoken. At times the music was louder than you.

    Wow, that's a REALLY nice looking saber! A lot of potential here, I wonder if an OLED screen could be modded into one of the panels on either side of the activation button? One of the things I like about the Pach Store is that they routinely update and improve their sabers. Thank you for the look!

    • @GrayPaladin

      If you remove the chassis and board to make it empty I'm sure it could be modded in some way.

    This is a good looking saber. And decent features 😮 I'm looking for a dueling saber and this might just fit the bill. Could you do a comparison between this saber and the Darkwolf Lobo?

    Speaker doesn't sound half bad, but I'd have to agree about the lockup

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the speaker is good. Better than LGT sabers. My original flyte speaker was a bit better.

    The Flyte sabers look very good & great value at the price which just goes to show that you can have a lot for a decent price & Asteria seems to have almost all the features of so called higher end boards like Proffie , the clean/functional design of this hilt is great as well as the color scheme just may grab one of these .

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You just summed up all my Flyte videos. You are absolutely correct and that's why I endorse flyte sabers. We can have something nice without dropping $500 like some sabers.

    Design is pretty plain to me but I definitely like the new features this flyte provides. Also like that the USB charging part is more flush to the chassis unlike the fallen flyte

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The fallen flyte was recessed way too much. Needed the special long usb-c cable it came with and small fingers to comfortably access the switch.
      This one is very user friendly.

    Just got mine today and love it, but the manual is bare bones - is it possible to change the music? No Duel of the Fates preinstalled 😢

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you don't like the music just connect it to your computer, enter the folder with music files and delete the songs you don't want.
      Save a backup before you make any changes!

    Did that have two fastening screws to hold the saber, or one? I saw you only tighten one, but it looked like it had 2. Also, would this be good you think for duels if you put in a base lit blade?

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It just has one. Yes this would be good for dueling. It has a 3" blade depth so even with a baselit adapter it should still be sturdy enough.

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you can't get back into the editor you can adjust it by plugging the USBC cable into a computer and changing the blade length in the config folder.

    How would you compare this to a Xeno3 if I were trying to buy my first saber?

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This saber is really good. A xeno3 will give you more fonts and customizable options, but the smooth swing and speaker quality on the Mordred is superior to the xeno. The gesture control on a xeno is a bit better.

  • @ultrasupremexd
    @ultrasupremexd ปีที่แล้ว

    Is there any neopixel you would recommend under a 200 USD price point than this?

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  ปีที่แล้ว

      There aren't a lot of pixel options under $200. Checkout Darkwolf sabers and Crimson Dawn. They have nice LGT sabers with Xeno3 pixel cores around $200.

  • @iwinl0l

    looks like their latest mordred neopixels dont have music

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@iwinl0l What makes you say that?
      The flyte sabers usually all have the same in basic configuration package. They only preload 1 or 2 songs which only play with a specific font. You have to load music files for each font in order to play them.

    • @iwinl0l
      @iwinl0l หลายเดือนก่อน

    Would the LEDs inside the hilt be enough to iluminate a regular blade, i'm thinking for dueling?

    • @GrayPaladin

    Hi, do you know if the Pach Store pixel blades are compatible with other pixel sabers such as a Xenopixel V3 hilt/ core?

    • @GrayPaladin
      @GrayPaladin  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they should be. I have used blades from other companies on a Pach Store hilt and they worked. Most of the pogo pin and PCB connector parts are multi compatible.
