@@familyandmerlenorman2721 Yes you can. You can add any sound font as long as the files are labeled in the correct format of the sound board.

@@ShellyGreen-sg4oo Yes, just about every grevious font has that. It just didn't play on this clip. You can also edit the sound file to play wherever you want.

@@ArnoldTohtFan There is still two handed combat which is necessary at times. That is when the lower body grip comes into play for more power and control.

@@GrayPaladin But it's impossible to control it properly with two hands, because it's shaped like a banana. It's just a gimmick, really.

@@ArnoldTohtFan Have you used one before? It's not impossible, but to each their own. I agree it's not ideal, but can be used. Remember, curved hilts are not a Star Wars thing. Curved hilts were used in history. That being said they are clearly not preferred to a standard straight hilt.

@@GrayPaladin I don't own one, but I have held one. I tried twirling it around, but it felt very unnatural. The rapier is a cut-and-thrust sword designed for single-handed fighting, so a short hilt with finger-grooves would be ideal. I would say a curved _blade_ is what you really want, though. The scimitar and the katana are ideal for slashing.

@@GrayPaladin I know, but I assume it’s usually for a fully built light and sound saber. I just can’t to order the hilt by itself either no electronics. I’ve heard bad things about their customer service with no communication and awful wait times of up to two to three months or more for your sable to arrive.

@@kle2217 It depends on the saber. Some take more time than others, plus where your order sits in the queue. Empties generally ship within a week if they have the stock. ASP parts, though empty, may take a lot longer.

@@GrayPaladin Ok, thanks for the info. I was going to order a few empty hilts, but I’m still debating on whether to order or not.

@@kle2217 Empties are worth it because I like Saberforge hilts and every empty I've ordered I got within 2 weeks.

@@iwinl0l What makes you say that? The flyte sabers usually all have the same in basic configuration package. They only preload 1 or 2 songs which only play with a specific font. You have to load music files for each font in order to play them.

@@GrayPaladin ah I see so only specific fonts have music I'll have to give that a try! Edit: Ok yeah I tried each font and no music, seems this feature was removed.

@@iwinl0l You have to add the music yourself. The only font that came preloaded with music was the sailor moon font.

@@iwinl0l Music tracks have to be under the font in a folder. Check the Moon field font for an example.

@@maltzel490 It's a great saber. It really has everything you need if you're on a budget. Last time I checked the price went down to $129! I paid $139 for mine.

@@Beenscheese Sometimes Pach Store has multiple runs. I pre-ordered and got the first run. Looks like they sold out and are on their second run.

@@tedfisher1913 I agree with the cape lining. Since this video, for the last Con I went to I removed the liner. It's much lighter and less warm. I made a mistake and that those aren't actually grenades. They are additional energy cells for his blaster. They are bulky so I cosplay without them. If I ever do a photoshoot I'll wear them, but not comfortable for walking around. There's a lot of good Krennic options to fit your preferred budget. The more screen accurate you go or 501st approval will cost more.

@@mac001texas Skin color doesn't matter! Cosplay as who you want and embody the part, no limits! That's a good idea with the locktite to keep those accent light bezels secure.

@GrayPaladin I just bought this hilt a few minutes ago, it is going to be my heavy dueling hilt. I hope it fits the kyberlite blades nice and snug.

@@mac001texas It should. The hilt will be great for dueling and very comfortable.

First thing is to make sure you used the correct format. Xeno3 changed from xeno2 so you need to check that all the files are labeled in the same format as the other fonts on xeno3.

@@GrayPaladin I have a Xeno3 RGB that came with no SD card. Which means it’s reading the config from internal memory I guess. So I have no way to see how the files are formatted

Yes which is why they all pretty much offer the same models and similar electronics. Some are better than others and the price usually reflects that.

Like everything in life, generally the more you pay the better. But also depends on what profit the business wants to make, so that same exact model rebranded won't be the same price, depends we're you get it from and what overheads they have refect the price. The reason Aliexpess are cheaper as they are drop shipping, and very little overheads so can afford to sell cheaper.

This saber functions just fine. Necessity for dueling is a stable blade and strong hilt. This one checks both those boxes, but dueling isn't everyone's priority for a lightsaber. To each their own.

I agree that baselit sabers have definitely improved and are a good standard option. Thanks for the compliment!

Correct, no hole. Being a thin neck that is duel worthy, I'm okay not having a covertec or D-ring. I especially like not having a control box!

If you can't get back into the editor you can adjust it by plugging the USBC cable into a computer and changing the blade length in the config folder.

Though the button on the emitter isn't accurate or look as good, it's way more practical and easier to use.

The deeper blade depth also means you have room to put in a neo/tri cree adapter for dueling.
