Hey, Debo's! Hillers and I tore em up on the Sexy Shad squarebill crankbait and the down sized spinnerbait with white and silver skirts. 3.5 Havoc silver specked paddle tail trailer dyed Chartreuse on the tail with Spike it! Garlic flavor. Caught 26 largemouth bass in 4 hrs. Hillers couldn't believe how many bass were in this over sized Ditch. He's a believer NOW! Caught One on 8 inch Green Pumpkin Senko. Started using a big bait to catch my PB this year. All your info from last year is paying off in INDIANA. Keep up the great video's Debo's. Shawn

Thanks for the tips man. I grew up fishing tiny farm ponds so now that I’m older and don’t have access to a lot of places like that I’m really having to almost “re-learn” how to fish but really I’m just learning how to use all these different techniques and lures I didn’t use growing up so your videos have helped me with that a lot! Outstanding information even if it’s from a Hawkeye (just a little kidding from a Badger). It’s refreshing getting advice from someone who fishes in the northern part of the Midwest. I have been bass fishing for almost 60 years but always in the summer and fall. That’s because bass fishing wasn’t allowed in the spring here in Wisconsin until recently. We can now catch and release bass year around. So now I need to get educated about spring bass fishing so your post is perfect. Thank you very much. I’m going to stock up on your suggested baits and head out with my grandson next week. We will be hitting a few our favorite lakes in our kayaks. I’ll let you know how things go.

Great video choice, Debo. Speaking of Lipplesses. Went to tacklewarehouse.com, and found me a Cotton Cordell. Waiting for the order to come in. I think that the Virus is slowing down my order. Sad!!! First time using a Cotton Cordell. I normally use Rapala. I got some shade of Red. Have not tried red until recently. Thanks so much for the tips.
You're spot on the jerkbait. Best cast and retrieve lure for me. My favorite is the shallow diving (0-4 feet).
Got my 1st Ned rig few weeks ago. Haven't tried it yet.
Those would have been my 3.
    Next 2:
Wacky Worm Rig (Bass Pro Shops Stik-O-Worm Junebug 4 1/2 inch)

Debo buddy, another great video. I have one observation concerning retrieve speed for lipless crankbaits and swimbaits. I find the effective speed of the retrieve is less relative to a static water temperature reading, such as 40°F, but is instead more relative to TEMPERATURE TREND, like 5°F WARMER than two days ago. IMO warming trends and cold fronts dictate retrieve speed and lure choice just as much if not more than a static temperature reading.

Nothing to brag about yet but it's still early spring. After Easter, these waters will be in full effect. Had a tornado hit here last weekend and it formed right here in my backyard. It took out a bunch of businesses here in town. Academy Sports was one of them. Anyway, I did get to fish a couple of hours before it hit. Now my spot with the bigger fish will be accessable..... finally. Ned Rig hasn't been my method yet but I have been chunking a Chatterbait. Lost one but I will be honing my technique to perfection. @@DEBOSFishing he's doing good for now
Just got home from doing our company inventory and it was a long day. Aaron took the time to talk to a young angler about his technique in a high school bass fishing competition recently and it made all the difference. He tried his best at it and finished in second place. It happened to be a Ned Rig technique. So I felt that it needed mentioning. This is the kind of anglers we need to promote. Just my opinion, & thank you for your response. It means alot!!!👊👊👊👊🤘🤘

Hello Debo, I've got a video request. I'm starting to fish my local B.A.S.S. Club. Anyway, I've decided to fish as a non boater to start out so I'm limited to what tackle I can bring. Ive realized how hard it is to decide what gear and tackle to take to the tournament as I've got so much to choose from.. I know I need something to cover the bottom, middle, and top of the water column. Probably at least two baits for each technique. I'm thinking since I'm fishing from the back of the boat I'm gonna need a more finesse aproach, so I'm thinking I'm gonna need at least two spinning rods, two medium casting rods, and two med Hvy casting rods. Each Rod in a lighter and heavier version. Anyway I'd like to hear how you and your subscribers would decide what gear and tackle to take. Thanks for keeping me entertained through a crappy period.. Tight lines, Jeff.
