His track record and history is amazing. He used to be in the running to be an investment manager at Berkshire, just don’t know why he turn down the job
@@ValueInvestorJasonhis interests don’t align well to be an investor for Berkshire. Ted and Todd are much better fit. Li Lu enjoys independence and I believe deep inside he still want to spend more time making the world a better place , especially help improving the us and china relationship, and the Asian community in US, that probably is more satisfactory to him. Just my observations based on what activities he has engaged in through his life. He said that he is most interested in history.
Li Lu in my mind is the Asian Charlie Munger. The way he thinks and in his responses is very Munger like. His book is even styled after Munger’s Almanac. If they could get him that would be great, hopefully as a board member someday.
