I successfully trade in my own portfolio, and also follow others because I'm interested in their strategies. I realized I've got better at managing the trader's strategies too. There's nothing wrong at all with having someone far more dedicated manage some of your portfolio.
To be 100% honest with you. I had the same question 4 years ago. I was confused as heck. Now copying other traders for over 3 years, I would like to tell you, YES copy trading is a good approach. Just keep in mind that the success of copying another trader lies in their transparency. Make sure you know who you are dealing with before copying them. My two cents. Goodluck!

Half of these are not even passive incomes. Crypto price increase, Stock price increase is not passive income. It's money you played with and could have lost, so instead of losing all of it you made some money. Quite literally a gamble, which has paid for some and not for others.

I wouldn't add increase in stock price as a passive income because there is no cash flow in it unless you liquidate. Other than that, good video.

It is easy to make 30k a month with real estate, bonds and stock market if one has 10M capital to invest.
So 1/2 million in a high yield savings account & $5 mil in index funds, based on savings accounts & stonks currently averaging 5% per year.

Interesting..but...I think you are going to find out that rental real estate is NOT an investment it is actually a Business, that requires a lot of attention. I do know many readers will disagree with me, and those who actually own rental real estate will likely agree.
Our family own a couple condohotel, which works similar to Airbnb, but managed my on-site property management. They charge higher %, but it is truly passive income as we don’t have to do any work 😊

Do you have a manager? We have someone who does everything from installing the furniture to arranging the cleaning. For us it’s mostly paperwork and strategic decisions
@@SiliconValleyGirl yeah I do management for the landlords myself. If you have a manager - yes that’s another story, without one that income will be very much active. The only thing is that in any property you need constant maintenance and things do break/go out of order - and quite often it’s a massive expense.

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or whenever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That'd be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

You got lucky. The timing was right. For the rest of us, it is too late as this country almost completely broken. So, stop filling us with false hope dear.
Capital appreciation from stock investments or crypto is not passive income... I suggest you take into account dividends + if you want, 1/25th of the monthly capital appreciation which will give you an estimate of the additional money you could withdraw from your account each month without impacting your bottom line (closest thing to passive income if you want to consider this asset class).

Why $100k a month?
BTW, those credit card bonuses would be income only if you could cash them. In reality, your *income* from those is $0. What they do is allow you to avoid a cost you'd pay in cash if you didn't get those miles gifted to you (i.e. the CC issuer buys from the loyalty company and grants them to you based on your transactions). And it certainly is not passive because it's fully dependent on your own actions, not the actions of others independent of you.

hmmm unfortuanetly hawaiian's and residents really don't want non residents buying up condos and property for investement, profit, vacation rentals...its actually what has created a crazy market, jacking up prices, making it very unaffordable for hawaiians and residents to live or have any chance to purchase homes, leading to a housing crisis, that actually has become world wide. Hawaii just passed a law that gives each island power to regulate rental zoning.....my sense in the next few years your actually going to see many of these condos zoned for owner occupied or long term rental only. This will eventually help to regulate the property values. It's a bit sad how property investment and airbnb has really clouded people's judgement and they have lost site that actually homes/ condos etc are places for people to LIVE....not a place to make a buck....
What island/area did you invest in an air bnb? I lived in Maui for 8 years, sold two houses in 2022 before the fires and cleared 1.5 million. I’ve thought of reinvesting in Hawaii (Waikiki). What do you recommend?
