I took byju's course in my 9th standard, they charged 30000 thousand for just 9th and 10th standard. And the counselor also said that I have some brain problem in my session becoz I was not able to answer few questions,he also discouraged me that I am weak student in front of my parents and that statements made me really demotivated. My elder brother was studying in Chennai at that time and he strictly told us not to buy, but me and my parents didn't listen and purchased it, and that was my worst decision, it was a zero help for me. They tempt kids like me with those videos and then after purchasing we get to know the reality about the course.

If you wanna depend on coaching centers, then please don't waste your time and your parents hard earned money bro.. If you really have a goal and like to study then you won't need any of these coaching, I rather suggest, to invest into a good university for your further studies after 12th and grind solo till 12th ..let me also crack a myth for you, marks actually doesn't matter when you apply for a job in a big industry, they will only check what you are capable of and if you are worthy enough to a part of the industry hrough your portfolio and experience , so work on your portfolio and personality instead of wasting your money on some coaching centers.

They acted as if they only care about numbers. Not just me, my friend also got recruited along with me. We both quit. They give dhamki about attendance and Loss of Pay. I used to work from 8Am till 10PM still got loss of pay. The pressure was so much that I decided to quit.

But for those who are justifying this price in the name of content. First the teachers are same as if they would have taught offline. Their fees are going to be same as offline and this online medium also suits their working hours and work from home so its a choice based work. Now about the equipments needed to make these contents. Dear if you know these contents can be made even on easy platforms if not elaborative or catchy that way, it would be still explainable to kids. Though i am not against od their course if people are willing to buy it, their options must be open and they can come with a course for those students who can pay less. As its a company naturally it will run for profits. But we are on consumer end, so we need to think upon their tactics played.

The problem is in this company any guy who is out of the college with just 1 year of experience can become a manager and is given team to handle with unrealistic targets, hence leads to toxic work culture.
I have worked in byjus for 10 months.
Issue is not this person but upper management who make any guy with just 1 year of experience a manager, that's why in big companies generally managers have 10+ years of experience because they know how to handle teams and tasks.
I know it's easy to blame him, and i am not defending his behaviour but with such little experience every nice guy in that company will turn out like this only after sometime, i do agree there were few good managers who were still calm but they were very rare.
If it's one person then it's an individual who is to blame, if almost all managers are like this then it's a culture issue of company.

This call reminds me of my past life in a toxic culture. For for months i bore it but when I saw my colleagues resigning immediately without any job in hand than i found an alternate temporary work, bunked office for two months. HR team there was very weak so I did not approach them. Finally my case was so escalated that the very busy owner called me for a five minutes chat.
After i started explaining him this toxicity he cancelled all other appointments and our discussion continued for 90 minutes instead of 5 minutes. I was taken back on the job in another unit.
After a few days i came to know he took strong action on those toxic people.
Dirty people need to be dealt like this mercilessly.

Bhai you guys don't realize that it's not his fault. Uske saath bhi yhi hota h,uske seniors usko torture krte honge aur vo itne pressure or distress me h ki vo saari frustration apne junior pr nikal rha h. Vo bechare k paas bhi koi option nhi h. Byjus must be given some spanking so that this horrific and toxic work culture comes to an end.

Congrats on your selection in IBPS btw.
Did i mention I resigned from SBI PO last year as I was getting sick n tired of insurance and other cross selling targets?
Anyways, best of luck for future.

@Deepmani Mathur I feel sorry for you if you've endured Byjus.
All I'm saying buddy is that Byjus must not be our yardstick to determine whether a job is worth doing.
I don't know about PSU but PSBs (especially SBI) are known for treating their employees like shit.
India is indeed going through tough phase in terms of employment.
But we deserve better treatment. It's our right. May be you'll find something even better. Stay intact.

@Deepmani Mathur U really working in a bank? Government bank mein bhi 3rd tier bank hoga.
I have been in the Baap of All Banks, SBI and the pressure was second to none. No one talked like this, but there was an underlying acerbic tone. We catered to all sorts of customers and we were cudgeled into cajoling them to buy insurance, and not when they desired but when we had to meet targets.
Government banks are no longer the Friend to the Common Man. They are money-chasing, conniving and running a fiduciary racket in the name of insurance and mutual funds, where they want you to invest where they get the maximum profit.
You are too new...The new bride only knows about the mushy stuff. As she spends more time, she knows what runs in the house.
      Crude analogy😁
