It lays flat pretty well. This one was used so it my take some breaking in to get it to lay flat. My favorite is the Heirloom in goatskin but the paper is thin in that edition. The thin paper is great and does noy bother me at all. If i were getting one and wanted the thicker paper id probably get the top grain. It will last longer and i really like leather bibles. This layout is my personal favorite.
Brock Childers awesome good to know. I ordered it in trutone as it was $100 cheaper then the top grain leather. Will take it for a test run and if I like the wide margin will eventually invest in a Cambridge I think

How does it go with laying open? Thinking of getting one of these.. or should I splash out the extra cash and get the top grain one?

Brock.. Do you know if the hardcover wide margin has the same paper as the trutone?
