Wow these were some strong messages. I think the think I like most about being a human is that we can imagine things that don't exist/we can't see. We can make up stories, join a religion, we can learn to communicate in another language, cry after a sad movie, think about memories from the past, yes, this one ability is the simple reason why humans are where they are in this world. We are not strong, we are not fast, but if we help each other we can overcome everything. ... Sadly there is another side to this, but I want to keep this comment positive.

I'm so grateful for this kind of content, this kind of optimistic views on life and people is really something I appreciate because it seems very rare nowadays. Something I find absolutely beautiful about humans is how we long for connection, and all the different ways in which we try to bridge that gap with others. Communication, conversations, actions, even art, games, everything. There's this Freudian idea that everything people do they do it for sex, and although I get where that comes from it doesn't really strike me as true. Instead, I think all we do, we do it for connection. Connection with others, connection with our loved ones or even strangers, connection with nature, a higher being or connection with ourselves. There's no objective need as to why you would need to make that connection with people, other than procreating (which is why people say it's all about sex). But I feel this human urge to connect goes way beyond just procreating. It's a kind of need to not feel alone in the world, to see a little bit of yourself in other. To recognize what makes you distinctly you, and at the same time see that you're just a collage of everyone and everything you've come across in life. It's a need to find your place in the world. And you know everyone else is along in the same journey to find themselves. When we're all looking for the answers, and we're all evolving beings, and still somehow we find the right people, we connect and it feels like the ever-changing pieces fall into place and you're able to see how you fit in the right place in their heart, and they fit in yours, even if it's just for a finite amount of time, I think that's the most beautiful experience of being human.

meiqii you are amazing. I first saw your video called "hopefully someone can relate to this feeling" and boy did I relate. You have been through so many similar thought cycles and you really made me feel more understood than ever before. You have made so much progress in your life and the things you have said have clicked and really do inspire me to drag myself out of the hole I cowered into. Through your videos, I saw someone who felt similarly to me in the past climb out of that god awful hole of sadness, and that was enough for me to recognize that there is light at the end of that tunnel. Your authenticity and desire to help others experience being human to the fullest have reached me, and as someone slightly younger than you, I humbly thank you and won't let myself go to waste, I'll keep fighting.
