Dang, dude! You got your ass handed to you before a Recognizer could come out lol. Press the disc direction button twice when you go to throw your disc. Wait like half a second or so before pressing the disc direction button the second time though. Hit your target, then press the button again basically. If you are going to miss, hit the button again to retract your disc faster. Hit or walk though the doors to open them. If you open doors across from each other, you can walk through to the other side. Which is great for avoiding enemies. Either way, looks like the stick is working with this game just fine.
