No, that video is showing the input latency comparison between the 7800+ and the real 7800 on a crt and modern tv with hdmi - the input latency is most likely due to the modern display and has nothing to do with the control pad, but that wireless / control pad is what’s included with the 7800+ , I have another video on my channel that covers the issues with that included controller (wired one) Overall, the included control pad is garbage. The directional pad is very mushy. The buttons are in a weird position and mushy. Whoever decided to go with that option was trying to make money as fast as possible, by reusing an old design instead of trying to create something new that was usable and comfortable

Hi there - happy birthday and congrats on the SMS - it was my first console as a kid and I loved it. The SMS needs a Pause mod installed in the console itself - and then it is initiated on a pin that is hooked up to a joystick port. My control pads can be modded to initiate this pause mod on the console, many have done it. There are a few different pause mods though, so you would have to do see what is available from those that provide the kits. Inherently my SMS control pads don't have pause capability out of the box and yes the Thumbstick can be removed - but it does provide more precision and control. Hope that helps --- Regards, Mike

Yes, it is possible - in my situation it turned out to be a bad extruder motor as all the settings prior worked just fine. My initial steps helped, but when I started a larger print, similar issues occurred, I took off the extruder motor and tried to spin the gear and it is very difficult.

@@kghhgkgk6322 hey there - so it is designed for wired Genesis controllers. But there are different revisions where certain games exhibit an auto movement to the left / right - but adjusting the Pokey POT in the 5200 console fixes it. If you have anything specifically you would like to discuss please let me know. I found the new revision of the M30 wireless controllers by 8bitDo no longer work and the Big 6 by RetroBit does work for most games but I noticed space invaders moved to the left automatically - it’s an odd behavior with the 5200.

@@kghhgkgk6322 I hear ya lol - it’s the way the 5200 handles the auto centering. The joysticks never auto centered correctly and the way the games are programmed each one can interpret different auto center values. And when the console starts up it tries to read the center of the joystick that’s why the console failed because most times the joysticks were never in the proper position causing the games to act erratically at times or not function. I have a 5200 digital arcade stick that I made that has knobs to calibrate the center position it works with most of the game library I’ve sold over 500 of them since 2020 everybody loves them

Thanks man - interesting you said that because that’s what I remember but then doing a search on Google I did find a picture with blue bat style but then a lot of them I’m seeing also have red ball knobs as well - so I’m wondering if they had different versions of them? @@retrogameboyz The original Robotron 2084 machines all had Bat Tops on them. If you ever find one in the wild with ball tops, they were swapped by arcade operators

Hi There - thanks for your question - I do have designs for a 4 button base - but it is much larger. The internal board does support 4 buttons as prepared for eventually creating a larger design.
