I dont know if anyone else spotted it but especially in season 1 of Manifest. All of the house numbers say " 828 " in some way. for example jareds house: 3528 -> 3+5 = 8 -> 828. michaelas house: 414 -> double the number = 828. That one motel room number where the wife was: 2414 -> 2 times 414 = 828. those are the ones I remember.

I like ur theory, twin siblings was the origin of this story in season 1. The most fundamental The Calling concept was introduced. But they never did to expend twin connections in season 2 and 3. Perhaps season 4 will revive the twin calling to escape death date? 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I like the theory that Beverly is pretending to have dementia. She tells Zeke that Mick and Jared still love each other because she wants to destroy their marriage. She doesn't want Mick to be happy. People who pretend to be good are really scary.
Zeke would have noticed if she was lying, but there must be an explanaition for Beverly's comments.

in flight , cal saw the light while everyone was sleeping , what if it was cal (who is kind of omniscient in the series ) who was sending all the calling to people , or perhaps he knew what it had been since the beginning but didn't tell anyone Because he got assured in the flight by the lightning that everything would be better at the end

When they show the callings, sometimes they are heard in Cal's voice. I noticed this on the "Go to her" calling and thought that particular calling seemed to be coming from Cal.

My theory: for every non passenger killed by a passenger.... One passenger who have listened to the calling even if it risks their life( like Zeke/Cal risking their lives while completing the calling) will cross the death date or will go back to their real age.
Sanvi killed major n Zeke was bought back to life
Angelina killed Grace n Cal came back to his original age.

I need Grace to live, shes had such an amazing character arc, and personally I feel like shes the best written character from Manifest

honestly i feel like her death could work, maybe as a way for the passangers to realise that maybe the calling dont always lead to good things or that they wont protect them from anything.
also it would be quite fitting, they were all preocupied with saving the passangers from the death date they let grace, someone about whose safety they werent worrying about die.
trying to protect eden, her child is also a fitting way to go, since that was her main purpose the entire show.
there may be some bias there since i dont really like grace as a caracter but i belive it makes sense

I can see how it works, but Im still on the denying face, so I really want her to come back somehow

Cal seeing Grace dying, he didn't show any grief at all. No tears. Like 'it had to happen'. He was so strong about Angeline coming to stay, plus he brought her back secretly. Maybe it was his job to bring A in to care for Eden due to some crazy connection between the two. His 5.5 yr absence gave him enough time to learn about the entire plan around the flight
I don't know which show you saw, but I definitely saw him crying. He was already crying on the plane, because he knew his mom was going to die. He was trying to comfort her, so she would pass peacefully, that's why he wasn't screaming and crying at the top of his lungs. You really think that he wouldn't feel the anguish of his own mother dying? And btw: he is learning with the rest of the passengers what really happened on that flight. Yes, he can see predict things, before they happen, but he can only see so far ahead, so no, he couldn't figure it out, as much as he wants to.

I think Cal felt guilty because he was talking to the others on the plane, he lost time there... maybe if he left sooner he could have saved his mom. It didn't feel like Cal killed her. We saw him walking to the room and finding her like that. He had seen what happened while on the plane. That's what he was looking at when he wasn't answering Ben's questions... That's why he feels guilty. He could have come home sooner and prevent his mother from dying... He didn't look shocked at the moment because he had already seen her death. I think it's crazy that people think Cal would let his mom die because "it had to happen". His own mother? It's far-fetched.

There is definitely no reason for keeping and she is a powerful actress if you've seen 'Get Out'. Very powerful actress and she plays a dark role in that too so she will have something to contribute im sure

Can anyone please explain to me what is going on with Olive? It's like she forgets she is dating someone and falls in love and cheats with another one!!! It happened twice, she was with her twin brother's best friend and then she dumped him to TJ with no explanation or a breakup, and then again she cheated with that library kid and forgot about TJ.

After watching S4 part1, when TJ came back from Egypt he mentioned Levi and asked Olive if that's his name and she literaly rolled her eyes and changed the topic, so that was the only reasonable reaction after all what happened 😂

There is three realities..
Earth 1 - The passengers disappear, and never come back to this one.
Earth 2 - The passengers arrive and begin to have callings in this one.
Earth 3 - The passenger who remain return to a parallel reality wherein things are picking up as if they never left.
The End.
At the end of season 3 when Cal is about to touch the tail of the plan he tells his mom “see you soon” - surely he didn’t mean “see you for a moment when you’re about to die”
I think the key of all this is Eden. She is the only connection between the passengers and the non passengers since no other passengers had a child after they returned. She wasn’t supposed to be born so she had to be “returned “ that’s why Angelina had to take her. Cal may have stabbed Grace to help Angelina to take Eden or Angelina did it. But Cal was so sure Angelina belonged with them and he even believed and agreed with Angelina when she said she feels a powerful connection with Eden. So Cal beats the death date by returning the baby and sacrificing the person he loved the most just like Zeke blindly followed the calling, gave his life for Cal on the frozen lake and came back to life. I don’t know how it will affect the others I don’t even know if that makes sense or if I’m loosing my mind after watching the whole 3 seasons in only 4 days so I can’t wait to watch season 4
I’m loving the theories, this is a very good and reasonable one. I also think Eden is the key to everything and I think Cal knows it.

Cal returned wearing a different outfit when he returned as a 17 year old from when he vanished. This surely mean she did not turn 17 from 12 directly, he has live those 5 years in a different time zone and came back when this was supposed to happen

I have now seen half of season 5 and I would have loved Cal to be clearer with his family and/or with Saanvi and Vence about whether he has actual memory/experience of living those 5 and a half years, or he has the perception of just popping out years later like all the 828 passengers in season 1. The first option seems more likely, since: a) he has physically changed according to the passing of time, unlike in the original 828 incident, and b) he doesn't seem surprised to see his mother dying. But then, why is he so secret about what he has experienced in those years? My theory/the closest thing to an explanation he gives is that he was in the Divine Knowledge light all that time, and legitimately he doesn't really know how to put that in words. But then again, such an extreme experience would leave anyone with major mental illness/instability issues. If I have to find a minus in this super captivating series, is that in the later seasons action took too much over character development and analysis. Like 50% of season 5 revolves around Cal, and still we don't have a clear idea about what is going on in his inner world. Is it bad writing, or exactly the effect the writers desired to give us?

Yes, i would love if Manifest unfold the story Beverly became Dementia or the darker truth behind her fake dementia. My simple opinion is, Beverly was the first manifest character to have the calling before everyone else in 828 including Zeke. Her action towards the calling leave catastrophic consequences including her death date or death of her daughter. Imagine that, if Beverly knew the calling was evil, this was her moment to crash everyone 828 especially Mick to revenge for her daughter. Unfortunately Beverly looks like she knew Zeke was escape the death date and try to save Mick, maybe Beverly plan is to break Zeke marriage life and Mick will meet her demise. Who knows 🎃

@@russdon4458 yeah was thinking about the same thing he was wearing a normal black jacket and he came back with his uniform but there was no co-pilot with him, and he said to dr Fiona see you in 2024. So I guess the one who just arrived is neither Daly that returned nor Daly from the original 828 flight.
Spoiler alert, the doctor was never cameback because she failed to recast in season 3.
I think Beverly is sus because Evie somehow connects through her with Michaela. In season 1 episode 3 when Beverly goes missing and Michaela finds her and sort of causes an accident, when she grabs Beverly to ask if she is okay, Beverly persistently looks over to the other car where the maid of Kelly is the driver, and she turns out to be the murderer of Kelly, which Michaela and Ben searched for. It’s as if Beverly knew what or who Michaela was searching for, and she hinted towards it. Also the „hints“ about how Michaela and Jared are such a great couple, I think it’s Evie trying to help her friend out and guide her. Maybe that’s also why Zeke feels a connection to her? Because the dead Evie connects with him. Just a theory though 😅

Beverley obviously knows something...she could feel Zeke. She knows/remembers things she shouldn't.
My favorite theory is the one were they are resurrected and there are 2 endings at the same time, depending on their actions they are closer to one ending. LIke a purgatory with 2 options, if you act that you died on the plane you got that ending or if you believe you came back then you would reach that ending. So each character finds their own destiny and might not be toghether because of this at the end.

My former theory that proved wrong within few episodes of season 4: grown-up Cal is/was in love with Angelina, presently and/or in the 5 years he has "gone missing". Glad I was wrong. Violet's death was one of the most heartbreaking moments of the entire series! Chapeau to the writers for having made such a good dramatic subplot with a character that has only been on for a couple of episodes.
My fav plot was the testing on passengers it was so intriguing I wish the whole series focused on that track and didn’t deviate to whole religion angle
It had a religious influence from the begining. What with The Flight being The Nr of that Bible Verse
That would have been boring and generic af. I’ve watch tones of show about government testing on people but the mystery of this being related to ancient scriptures is what kept me watching

I heard that Bec Angelina killed Grace in season 3 tht in season 4 Ben goes crazy & off the rails. His life starts to spiral & puts everything in danger. Noone knows til season 4 gets released.

They all messed up the callings, yes, but it wasn't their fault. And calling Olive a brat? Really? Olive was super kind to Angelina but what did Angelina do? Try to steal Olive's life, her relationship with Mum, Grace and Eden her sister, and even tried to kiss her love interest. Then you just blew my mind by saying You are happy Grace died! Wow! After Angelina kidnapped Eden! That's messed up and total bull shit.

This show has so many possible endings like: Evie or Grace returning, Angelina doing something big, but either way, this show will have a godly ending, i know that for sure.
What was with the pilot coming back screaming help me. And the plane disappear. I am so glad they gave us a season 4 to close it out. That would have been a dick move to not end it right.

Grace is the reason most people lost interest in the series 3rd season. Unnecessary screen time and her monotonous acting killed the main story line.

Of course Cal is remorseful, he told Angelina about the spare key to their home. Right after her he is the most guilty of this murder. He should have been the subject of the blood callings instead of Adrian. Adrian is just as guilty as Beverly, ofc in the scenario where Bev is just a sweet old lady with dementia.
I haven’t watched manifest in ages but I do remember when Cal was abt to leave to comfort grace (or after), there was a bloody handprint on a flyer that Adrien had given to Angelina about the church group or whatever.

I like the 2 parallel universes at the same time, but I think it’s all connected to Eden, she is like the link between passenger and not passengers and she became waaaaay to important in season 3 not to include her.
I think Cal knows it and the reason he said it had to happen it’s because for some reason he “knows” Eden must be with Angelina either for good or bad reasons… I think he knew Angekina had to kill his mother in order for that to happen… Or maybe I’m just crasy theorizing.😂😂😂

That's what I thought.i think she know more than she is leading on. Maybe she needed to kill her husband because she knew Makayla would move in. And to get closer with the stone family. Which aloud her to get closer to Eden and cal.

The theory that one character is actually another character probably comes from a viewer who's been watching DARK.... That's one crazy mind bender
Cal does feel remorse and kind of responsibility for his mother's death, but in season 5 it becomes very clear, if it wasn't already earlier, that it's entirely because he regrets trusting Angelina. No mystery whatsoever here. The theory of her being to come back because of the sapphire is really good, and we would all love to see it becoming true, but I dunno, all the people in the series who were believed dead and then came back had disappeared, but we actually saw her straight-up stabbed to death in her bedroom.
just imagine the final episode of season 4 starts of with all passengers laying next to each other in a hosptial. The plane crashed and they all went in to an artificial coma for 5 years. Another Theory is that Micheala is the one in a coma and just dreams about everything that happened

I strongly believe that all of them are in comas,dead or in parallel universes. It will explain why Cal said "it's okay Mum,I now know what we need to do". I think he was in another timeline 🤭

i have a theory: what if the callings are actually the characters but in the future? like, they lived that moment and saw what they did wrong. so they time traveled, somehow, and somehow put' callings' in their own past selves' heads. and if ur trying to tell me the callings are evil, they could be but, maybe grace dying wasn't so important? what if in s4 grace returns? or even if she doesn't something good happens because of her passing. and if the show really does make the callings bad, well they just pulled the uno reverse card on us, especially on top of that grace dies. theory no2: cal who came back as a 15-year-old or whatever, the same thing that happened to flight or Zeke etc happened to cal? let me know what u guys think.

I think Cal felt remorse because he listened to Angelina and ran away from home to go after the tail fin. He and Angelina made a big deal that Angelina was his “right hand man”. In the end it’s like she betrayed him like Judas. Just like Jesus, Cal knew about the betrayal. He just found out maybe a little later. That’s why he said, “I know what we need to do now” in the end.

OK so my theory is that when they were in the storm or that generally during the dark lightning different dimensions collapsed into one another so now we have a version in which the plane did fall and they all died and that’s why they found the fin and then we have the version where they lived and were cal is older and now I just think it’s about how they follow the callings and the choices they make that choose which path in which dimension they will follow (for example when the major was killed it took them closer to the path of the dimension where they did crash) also I think that during that storm when the dark lightning happened in the moment where the dimensions collapsed into one another there was no specific timeline so the boat that was sailing all those years ago and the plane were somehow in the same place in the same time because at that moment time became irrelevant, can’t explain why the meth dudes came back tho

I´m totally agree with Grace returning, because the Pilot got back and we really don´t know if they were killed or took bye a black lighting other Idea that I had is that when they are not in the present as happen to Cal when he took the aileron of the airplane is because they´re go to an eternal calling, like a limbo thing...It can be crazy but I think is a possibility and that when they are there they can see the other reality through the windows in a few second, like if they could see the time line in the space...
