- Today we will show you the 2 most popular markets in Cape Town, South Africa and why we believe these are the top 2 markets to visit when in Cape Town. We hope that you enjoy every minute and help support TH-cam South Africa.
We started the day at the ever vibrant Oranjezicht City Farm Market and what a awesome experience this was, from fantastic views, vibrant atmosphere, to the most delicious food you can think of. Here Kelby tried the "best" Koeksista in Cape Town and this was vouched for by our lovely host, Kelby's sister Natasha. Thanks Tash.
Oranjezicht city farm market has a great variety, from delicious food to awesome flowers and lets not forget the little trinkets that are available, along with getting yourself kitted out in some great shoes and clothing, with views of the sea that are an added highlight....so cool.
Next stop was the ever popular Neighbourgoods market, but more commonly known as The Old Biscuit Mill market, which is located in Woodstock Cape Town. This market has everything you want, from an ice cold beer, to live music and fantastic food. This is where we spent most of our afternoon, having a nice cold "beverage", whilst we listened to the awesome sounds from the live band.
Before we left The Old Biscuit Mill market, we ventured into the "retail" side of the market, looking at all the stunning clothing, sunglasses and everything it has to offer, before finishing up at the 'wishing well'. We both through our coins in the well and made our wishes and guess what??? One has already come true...YAY. We will let you know which one in an upcoming video.

How great to have two great free markets with so many amazing food options. Both seemed to have awesome views, and I love that they had live music too. Such a fun, chill vibe. I had never seen or heard of Koeksista before but it looks delicious! The pizza you got at the old biscuit mill looked quite mouth watering as well!

Oh my gosh, I am now starving for all those delicious foods!!! The views and the foods make these markets look so incredible! We would love to visit and spend a day strolling around--so fun! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a market with so many food options! The donut pastry looks so delicious...it sounded so crunchy as you bit into it. And wow, I can’t believe there are so many different flavors of samosas. The open faced avocado sandwiches at Oh My Avo would be a top choice for me. It would be difficult not to try one of everything. Ah! I’m getting hungry! 🤤

The food looks incredible! Awesome that they still seem to let you sample things even during restrictions. The pizza looked incredible but that korean place looked phenomenal also. Would definitely come here maybe the night market day? Seems cool
