It's a sleeper with the original paint. Thanks for the tour.

You have the proper valve on the tractor. Those are so hard to find. The standard tread tractors use the same valve but they have live hydraulics.

I have a very similar working clothes clad H with a Saginaw hitch as well. Handy as can be.

I too live in Michigan and just purchased my first tractor (1941 Farmall M) and a Saginaw 3-point separately. The tractor has the same Christmas tree pump with two lines running to the rear. I need to update the hydraulic couplers on the tractor to match my other implements but I don't know if the pump is single or double acting. Can you tell me what your pump is?

The hyd pump just pumps in one direction, the oil comes from the belly pump. To the Christmas tree valve, circulates through the valve and dumps back to the belly pump reservoir. When you pull the lever the oil is directed back to your cylinder. At the same time this happens the oil that is on the other
Side of the piston inside your cylinder flows back through the cristmas tree valve back to your reservoir. If you use this style "double acting" cylinder the oil level will stay the same in your reservoir. Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍

I have an H too, and recently found a 3pt set up to put on. I want dual action hydraulics like yours. My question is where did you send the return oil line to? I do have extra pipes and plugs on the both sides of the housing but not sure which pipe/plug would return oil to the reservoir. Any ideas?

The oil return comes out the bottom of the 2 way christmas tree valve and dumps into the fitting where you add or check the oil. You have to add a tee to the pipe that sticks out the top

What did the hydraulic conversion cost?

I guess I am not sure, I bought the Christmas tree valve off ebay, the couplers came from tractor supply.i had a friend make the blocks where it all hooks together, hoses, I am sure I have a 2 or 3 hundred into all that
