I got the Red Camp Woodburner a few weeks back found it to be great for day hikes a little on the heavy side to carry great distances but worked a treat.
I found if you put the handles in an upright position and then place the side tabs on the grill over them the whole thing seems tighter and not as rickety.

At 5;40 I heard chicken hawk . I have a farm when I hear that it guns a blazing reminds of in coming when I was in the Army. 😆 Great video 👍

Keep up the good videos. Like how you talk about how things are in the real world... most just show the items and try the food. Showing how yall do it in the field is cool...

Cool little wood burning stove. I'm not trying to start any crap my friend. But the top grate I'd supposed to lock with the handles on the side to make the grate more stable. I have watched several videos about this stove and that's how other folks explained it. I'm a Army Veteran myself. Had a few MRE'S back when they came in cardboard boxes and the food was in green cans. Lol.. stay safe everybody.

I wasn’t aware of the handles holding the great. Thanks!

@@piedmontsurvival8931 For the smaller one yes but not for the larger one. My only grip is that they came with this blue plastic that sticks on the SS plates. Had to peeled it off. But hey, it's now or never. :) Good vid!

It is a great stove....It also does a pretty good job of heat....when placed a foot or so from the shelter.
That was never my choice of MRE's...but somehow..i always ended up on the wrong side of the toss!

I love the new camp stove. It's a nice size and the cooking surface is an added bonus. Copper did a great job with his video appearance too. Something I wanted to ask was, of the different MRE's from different countries, which impressed you the most and how did it compare to the US MRE's as far as flavor?

I saw these stoves on Amazon last night and I am thinking about getting the small one, to take with me when bicycle camping/touring. I am thinking of the small one but people have told me its kind of tippy. Weight really does not matter to me, if the item is worth it. Plus I've heard the small one works well with a Trangia burner, and I have the large military trangia burner. So would like to hear from you. Nice set up and nice looking dog. Oh, when my best friend was in, back in 91, he told me to STAY away from any of the chicken MRE's :) Maybe they have gotten better. Are you an Artillery Man? :) Due to my poor vision I was unable to join up. But I am grateful to people like you and all the other's who have served and to those who have given their last Measure. Stay safe and well fed :) P.S. I was looking at the top great, and you see how it has handles, you oriented them to the sides, if you put them front and back you could use the handles to hold it in place, like some one else suggested.

Yep I am artillery! This stove was a great price and is good truck/bike camping. I would use a lighter one if I was hiking long distance. I really like the surface area of the grill so you can cook steak or use a larger pot.

Hey, me again, I ended up getting the small one and it is not tipy at all. It will be awhile till I can test it. Its winter where I live. Cold and snowy. So not much chance to collect wood. Any ways, have fun and stay safe.

Nice review. Thanks. Do you have to worry about snakes there in the woods?

I wanted to see the stove at work, not someone making a pig of themselves with GMO processed MRE's. Then a few mins near the end someone trying to teach the teacher how to make a fire. Sigh... Also, when I go camping I take good safe and often organic food

Lots of other videos you could have watched. Video said US MRE. Sorry my non-organic food offended you snow flake

@@piedmontsurvival8931 you are a typical big mouth wanker. If you want to argue, then you should have called it "US MRE Review and Redcamp Bushbox" ..You got the title arse about big-time son. Also, I'd rather be an organic snowflake than a GMO Junkie.
