I've noticed the power of human intuition and self-knowledge is incredibly powerful. Every action I regret is something that I knew in my head was the wrong choice, but weakness of will and discipline caused me to choose 'the easier option'. A lot of the self help advice found in books or online is nothing I didnt know before. Most therapists would be out of work if we learnt to reflect on our own judgements by ourself. Im completely confident that within ourselves are all the answers we need, if we learn to listen.
@@chromastrophe It is a paradoxical quote, honestly I don't understand it completely either, there are different interpretations to it. Perhaps it means we are free to act with the illusion of freedom, but with the knowledge the outcome is not truely in our hands, alleviating some anxiety. But I feel there is something deeper to it.
Kaal this is really well made and I had never saw pride in this point of view before and you really changed my mind about it, you are one of a kind man keep it up. Now its time for pridemaxxing
Sooooo true. You should always put effort for pride. For most masculine people hard work is the thing that makes them most. This is why with the pride based decisions making you are going to do more hard things thus making you more masculine and successful.
I’ve been going to a martial arts gym for about a year! Literally got my ass kicked in Jiu Jutsu today but at least got one submission in rolling. It has truly been a great experience and coupling the mindset provided within your videos has been inspirational! Thank you Kaal!
I also thought of something similar once. My line of thinking was: will I remember this thing in the future as something brave? If yes - I'd do it, if no - then not. Goofy example, but I had a military style training in another city, so I skipped the final lesson. I don't regret it, it was an excellent time. Also don't be afraid to do thing that are on the edge, like me and my friend planned to take a train, then a tram and then walk 15KMs in the forest to attend two ceremonies at once. Will you make a story out of your decision in the future? Will it be memorable and full of courage, or will you choose the way the way of a boring coward?
Hearing you talk about your time at Purdue has me wishing we connected. My attendance probably overlapped with yours. A difference between you and me though is I realized halfway through that engineering was not what I wanted, it was just the path I was placed on...after getting through all the weed out classes of course.

Hi Kaal, in one of your videos you mention the 9f framework to build how you would like your life to look like, can you tell me the title of that video? I would really like to find it, thanks!
I did wrong so I shouldn't take the reward or I would feel guilty trying again would make me feel guilty of losing a lot of time or not because I can still learn if I do right in the second chance idk if I would feel pride
sure you can minimize future regrets. However, if you don't have any past regrets, you're either ignorant or inhuman. I want to have regrets in life. It makes one grow into a good person if he manages to lift himself up again and again. If you live by the "zero regrets" mindset, shame on you. It is when you're an old fart one day, that you'll regret not having had the experiences that make life a real life, containing many many challenges, some being the experience of regret. I liked the rest of the video and think it's generally a good method. Just didn't agree with the titles statement "how to live with zero regrets"

Awesome quote - where is it from?
i don't understand
if the outcome is preordained, where is the freedom?
@@HighVirtueMan From the manga: "Vagabond", I feel like this quote is also tied to a real one but I don't where from, likely Buddhist or Zen-related.

What would you do if you're in the situation where you can choose whether to get great marks in NEET (which is an entrance exam to medical school in India) or building a business which specifies a particular niche (that's what feels fulfilling but i don't know where to start)
For context i am 16 and i have 2 more years to prepare for the exam
So i did hw and got
1) Little guilt that i could have built a community of great people
2) I felt surprised to feel little pride in myself
Whereas in buisness
1) If i built a really good community i feel the proudest
2) i don't actually feel any guilt if i achieved that in 2 years
So do i have to focus on one particular thing or can i just manage both studies and buisness
I am young so I need a wise answer from a wise man
Hope this message finds you....

It's an exaggeration
You should have regrets but don’t regret things you can’t control.
