@@Missmary852 In the south of England where Ruby l assume lives, it's usually very hot in July.. Anywhere between 27C to 34C. It must've just been an off day where it was rainy and cool.

I feel like I'm the only one that truly dislikes summer. If it could be autumn year round I'd be a much happier person, it puts me the most positive mindset!
Statistically, it's just not true. Autumn is preferred by the vast majority.
Polls on the matter are regularly made and it keeps showing the same trend: Autumn is considered better than summer by most poeple.
I love autumn. It’s much better than summer as it’s not too hot or too cold and also I love the colours and the crunching of leaves under our feet
I wish everyone loved Summer. I feel like I'm the only person I know who likes Summer. Any time I mention liking hot weather everyone around me calls me crazy and says they prefer winter. I feel like the odd one out all the time because I enjoy Summer.
I really don’t like autumn…the weather is cold and gloomy, days are getting shorter and shorter, everything is dying and the colour of leaves on their last leg is just not my favorite…I’m team spring but still prefer hot summers over autumn but I also feel I’m the minority here…a lot of people seem to enjoy the very weather which depresses me…

Fall is my favorite season two. I just miss these rainy, cold afternoons in the forest searching for mashrooms and when you leave it the sun is coming out and everything is just glowing. Fall is just amazing
Ruby has become my academic study buddy/motivator! I swear anytime I am feeling overwhelmed with school I always feel a lot better after watching her videos and seeing how she plans things out and finds the fun in her work. It helps me to better plan things out as well with my schoolwork!
I love autumn too, but I’ve been really working on living in the moment ❤️ The older I get, the more it just feels like wishing my life away to pretend things are something they’re not.

Such a cosy video! I really enjoyed watching you whilst you pretended it to be autumn. It makes me feel a little less weird for being In a winter/Christmas mood already. The weather here in Germany is really cold and cloudy, much like in autumn or winter, which makes it really easy to cuddle up in a blanket, wear my favourite pyjamas and drink lots of tea while watching vlogmas videos. At this point, I want to thank you for mentioning Zoellas Vlogmas in the "how to spend less time on social media" video because I have never heard of her before. Hi Ruby, just thought I would comment why I do see apples as autumnal. I live in Virginia, USA in the mountains. Here, apples from the local orchards are available in September through October. My family's favorite variety is called York Imperial, which ripens in October. They are slightly lopsided, very crisp and juicy. We used to visit a local orchard every fall which is way up high on a mountain top and has incredible views. When I was a kid, besides the apples, they also sold fresh pressed apple cider, apple butter, and pumpkins. Definitely an autumnal experience!
I love everything about autumn except for back to school, I feel like school/university as a whole takes so much away from the season. I'd love to just sit back and thoroughly enjoy the season for even a week. There's winter break, spring break and summer break but no autumn break? Who thought that was a good idea, plus its so tough to adjust to school and exams in autumn after a long break. So yeah I can't say I enjoy back to school in autumn. Sorry for the rant I didn't realize how much I wrote...

From someone who works on a farm, apples are associated with autumn because the apple season is only just beginning here in early September. So autumn is the only time to get farm fresh apples

Apples can definitely be autumnal! There's both early and late varieties, with some early ones being ready to pick in August, but the latest going right up to November, so they definitely span across Autumn and maybe you've mostly got early variety trees near you :)

Apples are definitely autumnal! ♡ I live in BC and they have orchards and farm pressed apple cider. You get it hot with cinnamon sticks in it and can walk around the orchards. I totally associate apples with autumn.

As the calendar year draws closer to its ending, it is in Autumn that it throws an anticipatory farewell party, with some of its most delicious fayre (not to mention generous - as this video proves, the flesh of the pumpkin goes a long way and can be used in any part of any meal!) and visually stunning displays. Those latter are, of course, composed of the remains of those remarkable natural colours we saw earlier in the spring and summer, so there is nostalgia therein. And it is as the years roll by that Autumn nostalgia encompasses one in so many ways: reflecting on times and events and feelings now past, yet awakened or evoked so vividly by the sights and sounds and scents of the season, unchanged from year to year.

Apples are an autumn fruit here in North America because when harvested they were traditionally put into cold storage over the autumn and winter, or made into hard apple cider.
