I just reread Jane Eyre and I agree about having such an appreciation of Jane's character! I will eternally love Jane for being my role model and friend as a struggling teenager, but only now, looking back after ten more years of wide reading, can I fully appreciate how fortunate my younger self was to fall upon her, and what a truly rare, unique and utterly wonderful character she is 💛

Ahahahaha I do the exact same thing! I grew up in a house with underfloor heating so I made a habit of never wearing shoes or socks indoors. Now whenever I complain about being cold people always point that out.
Ruby's personality has evolved over years, which don't get me wrong, is a great thing. Now she's more expressive and relaxed and we viewers can get to see her other side as well. God bless Ruby😇❤️

Personally, I’m agnostic, but I think it’s so important to be aware of other people’s religions and belief systems to understand others more. And to understand the influence of these texts on works of art/society in general! :)

app "forest" is really good app that keeps you of your phone, basicly you set the time and plant a 🌳 and it will grow trough the time you set and if ypu go in any apps the 🌳 will die
and that way you make your own forest
tho i think on apple phones and ipads you need to pay for it, on android is free
Hey I was soo bad for this! I just decided to delete the apps and do all the terribly boring things I need to do throughout the day so I’m not tempted but also just tv and cooking nice food. I redownlosd them once in the day to reply to messages usually at night and delete them again

this was such a lovely watch as always Ruby, from here in summery Australia being transported to your winter is really calming. i work in an animal shelter which is most days very physically and especially emotionally tiring so to be sat down at the end of my day and share in your days of reading and studying is honestly therapeutic. the frame of the shot around 7:10 and the way the light changed around in your room was so beautiful as well, i love the way you document and articulate yourself and wish you all the best on your study and work endeavours xx

And it's true, it is referenced a lot in literature. And it's all the more worthwhile when you really study it with an open mind - sure, questioning and challenging it, but also being open to change aspects of what you believe.

My ability to fall asleep clearly corresponds to the amount of tea I was drinking that day. I was surprised how much caffeine tea contains and am trying to stay aware of that now :) maybe there are other tea enthusiasts here to whom this might be helpful!
Just a note on your bible reading - I’d really recommend you read the New Testament (starts at Matthew) parallel to the Old Testament. It’ll help you to appreciate the links and foreshadowing more, whilst also keeping it more interesting! Good luck with your quest to read it all :)

When I was in high school I used to pretend to be Hermione, and it motivated me, but this comment just now reminded me of it! There's some official name for this, but it escapes me. I'll get back to you in a few weeks when it inevitably comes to me in the middle of the night lol, but I do know that this is actually an observed effect based on research in motivational psychology
